"Sony making such simple games that are less resource hungry allows them to put a nice coat of paint on almost all of their games."
This comment alone shows how much of a complete and utter deluded troll you are.
How are the likes of Uncharted, or God of War, Killzone, Heavy Rain, etc any "simpler" than the games that get released on the xbox.
Go on please educate me. Oh wait, you cant because youve only got one bubble. ...
To sum up just about every single one of your posts ever:
- Sony bad LOL!
- Microsoft (sorry, MSFT) great!
Might want to save yourself some time in future and just copy and paste that.
Because of course the playstation doesnt have any western games. Oh wait yes it does, it has just as many if not more.
Unless of course you arent counting the likes of Naughty dog, guerrilla, mm, sony SANTA MONICA, Sucker Punch, etc as western developers which they are.
So thats what they're calling the new console - the LMAO 720!
Makes sense given the rumoured specs, it's certain to raise a chuckle. Hopefully it'll play a sad trombone sound when it red rings for maximum comedic effect.
The reason they dont have a case finalized yet is probably due to the late inclusion of the extra memory - doubling the amount of memory is bound to have some impact or other on the final form factor.
@greenpowerz yeah you're right - you've got them bang to rights. They clearly dont have a console and the announcement last week was clearly just for shits and giggles.
The devkits out there are made of cheese, and the games on display such as killzone were all just running on a souped up atari 2600.
Get a grip, you're just embarrassing yourself and annoying the shit out of everyone else.
@greenpowerz even if what you are saying was right (which it isnt), anything released in the first year or so of the consoles life would have to have been developed for the lowest specced prototype - games arent developed in a couple of months, they take years.
@greenpowerz you cant seriously believe that there are 6 different varieties of dev kits out there that developers are working on in parallel just to make sure they have stuff working on whichever one microsoft finally decides to use?
I think you need a reality check.
@greenpowerz so all the devkits out there are of completely different spec to what they're going to unveil?
One thing to up the amount of ram in a new console, another thing entirely to ditch the motherboard so they can swap in an entirely different type of ram
@greenpowerz are you on drugs?
"Durango is a memory monster, shipping with 8GB of RAM up against 'just' 4GB in its Sony competitor. It's an ambitious strategy, made necessary owing to Microsoft's hopes for the new Xbox to be more than just a games machine"
WRONG! Durango has 8gb of slower ddr3 ram and the ps4 has 8gb of much faster gddr5 ram. This is not a rumour - this is something thats been officially announced.
I understand you perfectly well, but just because they are primarily a software company doesnt mean they are the only software company in the land that is capable of writing emulation software.
EDIT: And they didnt do a "great job" of emulating xbox software on the 360 - only the halo games were playable at launch and both they and subsequent games were a glitchy horrible mess to play.
Also, if we accept what you say and that microsoft make the bes...
That knowledge didnt serve them that well with B/C on the 360 - they only got around half the games working after about 2 years before giving up on it - and those that worked were full of glitches and issues.
Also, you say that as though the other platform holders arent software companies - what are the games they produce if not software?
I love how you are sure what they will do without a single shred of evidence to back it up.
Seems you're happy to believe rumours that you like, while instantly dismissing any you dont.
"At the very leaset the 360 will act as a 720 add-on like the HD-DVD unit. Playing 360 games o 720 using the 360's dvd drive allowing 720's enhanced features and services to be used.
"
What on earth are you on about?
EDIT: If you need to use the 360 itself (which i gather is what you are saying from your rambling), then that has to be the most worthless "backwards compatibility" i've ever heard of.
Xbox was significantly LESS bc than the playstation - yeah the ps3 didnt play ps2 titles but it ran every single ps1 game.
Thanks for speaking for us all there /s
@greenpowerz you deserve more bubbles for being hilarious.
Major Douchebag.
Cross-game chat doesnt interest me at all and i suspect the same is true for the vast majority of games outside of a very small (but f**king vocal) minority.
Why would i want to speak to someone playing borderlands 2 while im playing ni no kuni? As someone who doesnt feel the need to be constantly talking, if ive got something to say to someone ill pick up a phone or something rather than go to my games console.
@DoesUs Amen to that brother
