The difference with Dust 514 is the fact its a free-to-play game supported by the micro-transactions - in the case of AC3 its a full price title with not so much as a discount.
In Skyrim's case, the dlc was expected from the point that they announced it - way ahead of the games release.
Haze is not an awful game by any measure, it gets a lot of negativity for some reason but its a perfectly good game on par with most other first person shooters.

theres only been two released on ps3 so far - so presumably the third game in this trilogy will be a hd remake of KZ1
2 of those games arent out this year, so they might struggle a bit

I cant see this happening at all - games like COD cost an absolute fortune to make and by restricting the audience to a single platform would devastate the revenue from such titles.
If activision are in a poor financial situation selling to a full console audience, this would make TERRIBLE business sense.
They cant win really can they - either they're charging too much for stuff, or they're charging too little to try and hide deficiencies in a game?
Personally I think the multiplayer looks great, but each to their own.
Agreed, great game when it was 40 quid - superb to be able to get it for practically nothing
Sad thing is people will still rip on plus even though its completely optional - coming out with the same tired arguments about "only renting the games"
Personally, id rather "rent" games, than have to "rent" the online portion of games ive payed good money for.
