Just about every single one of the mobile games he's talking about are "not impressive", just like Molyneuxs output for the last 20 years.
What else are people supposed to go off if theres no demo?
Edit: My bad, didnt realise there was a demo available
Yeah no need to worry, it'll actually be called Halo Kinect : Flailing Evolved ;) /jk
Thats the exact problem - i got one near launch and have been waiting for games that are "coming out" ever since.
Meanwhile the 3ds has been getting game after game - Nintendo have nobody but themselves to blame for not concentrating on the wiiu nearly enough
Because its a massive supermarket chain - be like me saying "I've never heard of Walmart or BestBuy, so who cares if they dont stock it"
@thezeldadoth
The problem is, it really doesnt have much in the way of games either - for a really long time, the best game I could find for mine was zombiu and... it really isnt that good.
They should have had at least one or two killer first party titles (zelda, mario, metroid) ready for launch but all the quality stuff has been developed for 3ds instead.
No modding required and totally official :)
It's been a while since I did anything with XNA but from what I remember it was just a case of installing the SDK and building for the 360 from within VS.
Similar story for the Vita - if you download the SDK, theres a bunch of sample projects which can be run directly on the console and debugged from within the bundled IDE.
This is something you can already do on the 360/visual studio and the Vita IIRC via the SDK and dev environment.
How can this be a game changer when the 360 already does it? You can debug games for xblig already so it not nearly as new as people are making out, unless im missing something?
a) why are they lying?
b) why would they lie when it would be exposed as soon as people got their hands on it
c) you're an idiot
d) see point c
They mentioned disk based games because digital games cant be traded in or shared.
People voting with their wallets - if you dont like it dont buy it
Its not up to Sony to control what publishers do with their drm measures, its up to us - if they do something you find offensve then dont give them your money and they'll soon get the message.
Its amazing how we seem to have gone from hoping Sony didnt introduce the same draconian anti-consumer bullsh*t that MS have to now suddenly expecting them to go on a one company crusade against 3rd party DRM measures.
The article is actually a good piece about how stupid these stories are - its just ridiculous it had to be written
How were you planning to trade in your digital games?
Ridiculous that this has is even being considered news - from what Sony have said the PS4 will be no more affected by DRM than the ps3 or even the WiiU.
What publishers do is entirely up to them as it has been this generation, and they can enforce their measures on any platform that can connect to the internet.
Rather than people trying (desperately) to pick flaws, Sony should be applauded for doing what they can to maintain our consumer rights.
"Hell I think all the MSFT games were impressive."
We know you do.
He banned himself.
Microsoft continuing to bring nothing but shoddy business practices to the games industry. Was a big supporter of theirs when they first started in the console business but now just wish they would f**k right off.
It's implied - nobody designing a game for the next-gen is going to intentionally target 900p rather than 1080p
