That's just wrong. I can agree that ps3 exclusives usually look better than multi-plats, but it's usually like that for all consoles. Ps3 exclusives looking above and beyond anything for 360 is flat bullshot. Gears of War faceplants anything on ps3. And the sad news for ps3 owners is that it looks like Mass Effect is about to faceplant Gears in the graphics department.

Well a one day sale isn't going to do anything but momentarily spike sales. It seems more like a move to simply stay competitive with blu-ray. However if this price was permanent, pack your bags boys, wars over.
If this price sticks on HD-DVD then blu-ray is finished. $100 is a mainstream price and will move ALOT of HD players.
Why would anyone with a 1080i/720p HDTV pay an extra $250 for a HD player that's only added function is 1080p? It's not like $3000 1080p tv's are flying off the shelves.

There have been approx. 3 ps3 multi-plats out of around 35-40 games that have been marginally superior. Oblivion is the most recognized, and it took around 11 monthes of extra dev time. Games like Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, Madden, NCAA, NHL, MLB, Fight Night and a whole host of niche titles are all superior on 360. And most of those games the ps3 version had anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 monthes extra dev time. As far as I'm concerned, that above and beyond enough proof that the 360 is the sup...

360 is still the graphics leader, and it hasn't peaked yet. That's just a security blanket ps3 minions like to wrap themselves in. The process for making games for the 360 is still in it's adolescence.
Simply use it for what it was engineered for, to be a video imaging decoder. Like sony is doing with the ps3's blu-ray player.
