The 360 is hands down the best and most logical choice for a current gen game console.
360's superiority as a game machine over the ps3 should be common knowledge to everyone by now. The proof is everywhere for everyone to see. It's someones own fault if they choose to ignore what's as plain as the nose on their face.

I would place all of the blame on Sony for using the Cell processor. The Cell was not engineered with gaming applications in mind. I garuntee you that Madden '08 (just like every other ps3 title) is running almost entirely on the single PPE of the Cell. Don't blame the devs for Sony essentially handing them a VCR and saying "here make this movie player run videogames".
The Cell processor is simply not as good at running games as the 360's cpu. It should be pretty obvious to everyone by now.

I disagree, the ps3's gaming hardware is second rate compared to the 360. And it shows in ps3 titles. The selection of titles pale in comparison to the 360. Add the extra cost, and the ps3 is most definately in the C (if not D)rating.
