Isn't your comment kinda counter-intuitive with the argument you're trying to make?
This is probably the best critical review of this game I've seen in a long time. He points out every major flaw/issue in it and how it overall ruins the experience while also giving some positives about it. I'm glad he doesn't lie and bend over for EA due to money, he's an honest critic and that's what I like about him.
Lol good, the game was not ready for release yet with the mediocre quality especially coming from a huge 3rd-party AAA developer like Bioware. While it may have not been anywhere near as buggy as Andromeda, at least that game had a better story and mission structure compared to Anthem. Remember guys, Anthem took 6 years to develop and this is the best they could come up with. It's disappointing to see this is how it turned out.
Honestly, Bioware's future looks pret...
This is why EA keeps making games as a GaaS, because of morons like this guy here.
I heard there is a story mission which is basically a huge grind you gotta do. The rewards for doing that? You get a chest...........no amazing cut-scene or epic moment for the story........just some same boring loot. Wtf has Bioware done to this game? I didn't think this would be worst then Mass Effect Andromeda but somehow it is.
Damn, that is a pretty noticeable downgrade. I understand not everything will be the same, but don't add things in a first trailer and completely take it out in the final game, that is just lying to us and what it is. Why were the amount of NPCs and the giant robot taken out? If you couldn't get them to work in the first place don't put them in the trailer at all.
I'll get it when it's free..........maybe. The amount of things Bioware and EA has done to this game blows my mind. They are so focused on the GasS and pretty much destroyed this game simply due to greed and laziness. This is a BIOWARE game, and the story is just meh? Seriously? Add that with the repetitive mission designs and the constant loading. No thanks. I'm not supporting EA or Bioware. This is following the whole Destiny thing again. Maybe Anthem 2 will be better, but that ...
Never
It's not overwhelmingly positive, it's currently at a 49% rating with over 10K reviews.
Man, at this point I won't be surprised if EA shuts down Bioware completely. They're no longer the same company and are just a former shell of themselves. It's all because EA is forcing all their developers to incorporate some stupid GaaS into their titles and they don't care about criticism from people, all they care about is securing that money in the launch sales before word gets out. They don't give two sh*ts about us.
I hate this say this and I rar...
Thank god I never planned on getting this in the first place. You can't trust EA for a second regardless of how much/little involvement they have with a game.
He's gonna be missed. No one can deny how much of an iconic face he was at Nintendo regardless if you like him or not.
This is a bad idea.
We all saw how Ghosbusters 2016 did with an all female cast.
Ok, really bethesda? REALLY? What kind of game company are you? You're really turning into EA, no you're being worst then EA.
Good thing I don't plan on buying this. I don't trust it one bit.
Yeah I can't deny the heavily anime voice acting in it. I don't mind dubbing for anime stuff and games alike, but something with Sqaure Enix sounds really off. It does not sound natural at all. Just very forced and emo like you said.
If they did that to me, I probably set it on fire just for the shits and giggles
It sucks that the game was bashed so harshly and hugely received as a terrible game by everyone when it released. That probably destroyed any chances of it getting a sequel anytime soon. I enjoyed it for what it was, but it certainly was not worth full $60. I paid $30 and I found that price point to be the highest for me personally.
10/10 GOTY material right here folks
Didn't the developers say they waned to go multiplat? If so then that's a good thing for everyone. Until Dawn was amazing and I can't wait to see their next title.
