Dude, do you realize how many games are released on Steam daily compared to consoles? I bet you that 80% of the games on steam you probably never heard of. I do use the store sometimes to browse games and so many of these titles are something I never heard about at all. Alot of these titles are also so low budgeted (which is understandable), but there does need to be some kind of quality control Steam for the most part does not have any. They pretty much allow anything on steam and rarely rem...
Despite all the things I don't like about what Epic is doing and how I loathe Tim, I can't deny that he is right about this viewpoint here. Over the last few years, there has been way too many "crap" games that does not meet industry standard. They are such low budget titles with little to no effort, and should not be on steam. The steam store is overflowing with these extremely low-budgeted crappy buggy games and it needs to stop. This is a major problem Valve needs to fix ...
Truly well deserved, it's my favorite Devil May Cry game in the series by far and I had a blast playing it. I definitely plan to go back on harder difficulties as that's where the real fun begins.
People complain about Denuvo and say they won't purchase the game using it. Game has no Denuvo and they will pirate it. This is why PC games use Denuvo, to prevent things like this.
I always enjoyed Fromsoftware's games so I already knew this was going to be a fantastic game from the get-go. It's one of the few developers I have complete faith in where I can pre-order without being worried.
So how is this any different from used games on consoles?
No, I would want to give my game to as many people as possible with the platform/store of their choosing.
There are loads of threads on the internet as to why people do not like this business practice. I won't put a link here.
Basically it all comes down to the fact that the Epic Game Store is very barebones in features, and that they plan to opt in user reviews and maybe discussion forums. There are so many intervals with PC games compared to console games where it's the same performance for everyone. It also don't help that their store is very unsecured as it'...
Are you f**king kidding me right now? All Epic is doing is showing off that cash they made off of Fortnite in their hands like a treat for the dogs (aka developers/publishers).
Steam/Valve needs to do something about this soon, cause as of right now it's only going to get worse. It's easy to fix though, just make it the same price cut as the Epic Game Store of 88/12% revenue and this problem will go away.
Though if I'm being honest, they also ...
Well then, can't say I was expecting that. Though this is a little different as these were formerly a Sony exclusive so I can't complain to much when it was never expected a PC release to begin with. Still though, these won't be convincing enough for me to use the EGS.
Oh f**k off already, I'm not supporting this sh*t anti-consumer business practice
So that google controller patent leak was indeed real. It'll be interesting to see if this takes off or not. This could either completely change the landscape or will not be ready for the public currently.
Nah that title goes to Fallout 76..........says no one ever.
I loved The Witcher 3. I still have to play through the DLC but I heard that is just as good, if not better. The main thing I loved about Witcher 3 is that it's about Geralt, not some random no name character with little backstory that is destined to change the world. This is about Geralt and it's his personal story, that's what I loved about it so much.
So in other words, they may finally learn the next number after 2. We'll see about that.
Instead of getting other companies and developer's games, how about instead invest in making your OWN games as an exclusive to make your store more appealing. His argument is tonally stupid, Tim bought up about:
Origin (Owned by EA) having EA games (which are exclusive because they are made by EA)
Steam (Owned by Valve) having Valve games (which are exclusive because they are made by Valve)
Battle.net (Owned by Activision) having games (which are exclu...
No
Lol, he even admits that they are severely lacking in features compared to Steam since they rushed it and that the only way to gain traction is to buy exclusivity rights (which is the scummiest thing to do). He truly doesn't give a crap of the PC gaming community at all. Someone asked him how it benefits us, the consumers in using their store and even Tim didn't provide a straight answer. He simply said it's to give developers more income so they can reinvest in games or provide b...
Not keeping my hopes up tbh. Their last Sonic game Sonic Forces was pretty disappointing to say the least. They always seem to struggle with 3D sonic games for some reason. The only successful sonic game in recent years is Sonic Mania so maybe it's Sonic Mania 2.
So they're literally spying on Steam users information. Wow, just wow. All the things Epic is doing lately is making people including myself hate the store even more and reluctant to use it. They are run by a bunch of Chinese governments. They can spin this however they want, but the matter is they are using their store to collect data from Steam users.
Epic Game Store? More like Epic Spyware Store.
All that wait for the announcement, and now we gotta wait for more details in April, not gonna lie I can't help but feel disappointed by this news.
