Hmmm I dunno, maybe it's because they are first-party titles so it somewhat makes sense? Completely different when you are buying third-party games for exclusivity.
No it isn't. You can tell majority of PC gamers hate this Epic exclusivity sh*t for third-party games. If it were first-party then it be fine since it make sense if it were developed in-house, but it's not fine when you are bribing third-party studios for some exclusivity deal. There is no benefit for us, the consumers at all.
The only thing I like about EGS is that they offer a free game every two weeks and that developers get more money. That is something me and ...
I play them on my brother-in-law's switch, so yes I'm tired of them.
Personally, I'm tired of side-scrolling Nintendo games. Nothing against them and they're always good for the most part, but they just come out too frequently for me to care.
Oh man, I really hope this rumor turns out to be true. I loved the PS4 Ratchet and Clank, it was honestly my favorite in the series and it's so gorgeous too like a pixar film.
Personally I found Shadow to be extremely boring and uninteresting, I practically forced myself to finish it. For what was basically the final installment in this trilogy, this game didn't do anything that made it feel like a conclusion. It just felt like another standalone tomb raider game but without an interesting story and characters/villains. All the build up with the evil organization trinity fell flat completely. The first two games in the trilogy were far better with a interesting...
Then I will continue to wait for the Steam version. I gotten to the point where I can easily wait a year for Steam release and just play some games in my backlog or other new releases that are not exclusive. It's also saving me a ton of money in the process. In a way, this benefits us a little bit because hopefully by then all the bugs will be ironed out. So in a way, Epic is the beta test for us.
Wow, I have no words and I'm just feeling so many things right now. EA needs to stop forcing the Frostbite engine and Bioware is no longer the same, just a former of their shell (literally). I cannot trust EA or Bioware at all now with any game in the future.
Jesus, thigns are looking very grim for Gamestop. I expect them to be completely gone within another 2-3 years.
Looks like I will be playing in April then.
It's a Fromsoftware title. You must except it to be difficult and it's like the author said, it's not for everyone. The developers want you to play the game the way they want you to play it and I'm glad for that. Not every game should be easily accessible.
I really hope this epic exclusivity thing isn't true.......I will be so upset.
And the issues continue on for Anthem. Bravo! Well done EA and Bioware!
It doesn't even have 1K reviews and it released in 2015. Plus, I never even heard of this game so I'm not all that surprised really.
I don't get how Bioware keeps screwing this up repeatedly with Anthem.
This looks so amazing. I'm so glad Borderlands is back. It's time to show these piss poor GaaS games what a real looter shooter is. I'm so hyped and my god, everything just intrigues me.
The style/format was fine, but the games that were shown off could've been better. I lost my sh*t when I saw Tony gearing up his suit, then instant disappointment when I realized it was a VR game. The state of play had too many VR and indie titles for me personally, so hopefully in the future they will show some more first or second party games.
I got a gut feeling the Bethesda launcher wasn't that successful for them.
Thank you CD Projekt Red. Very much looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077.
I agree, it would at least make it a bit more enticing, but very few games have lowered their prices in the EGS. So what's the point of Epic saying this as a positive for us to get games cheaper when hardly any developers do it in the first place.
