There are several reasons that I have explained about in my previous comments and countless others have the same thoughts. My main reason for not supporting Epic is because of their stupid timed-exclusivity deal practice. That is a terrible practice for us as consumers. They are literally taking choice and forcing us to use their inferior launcher just to bribe people over into using it. I absolutely hate that practice and all it does is push me further away from using Epic's launcher. I ...
Yeah I think so as well.
Just stating my thoughts little lucis
Never heard of that
No I am not going to sell my PC.
It's my choice. If you don't like what I download on my PC, well that's your problem not mine. You are the one who needs to grow up.
Nope
Well, it was fun playing rocket league Psyonix, too bad I won't be able to play any potential future games from you guys anymore.
If it was on Steam I think it would've sold even more.
Yeah, pretty sure if anything it will be a timed exclusive and console exclusive.
It's interesting, while alot of critics are giving it like a 6, alot of users seem to be rather enjoying it. I have yet to pick it up but I will probably try it out over the summer once some of the technical issues are resolved.
I just finished it last night, and I waited a few months before starting it to let the hype around it die down a bit. So my overall thoughts? I give an 8/10. Great game, but no where nearly as perfect as all these sites claimed it to be. I'll try to sum up my thoughts rather briefly.
Positives:
-I liked the overall story with the gang, and how the gang slowly falls apart by the end. Epilogue was very nice too
-Graphics, presentation and technical aspe...
I'm sure at least 1 or 2 expansions will be out by then.
I'm just going to wait for it to release on Steam, simple as that.
They announced this way too early which is rather unusual for Nintendo.
I actually don't think it needs a single player DLC. The game's story feels complete as it is. I actually pretty much wrapped up the epilogue yesterday and I feel satisfied with the story. The gameplay though, well I'll be honest I didn't like the gameplay all that much. Too much realism mechanics were placed in it for no reason as it added nothing to it other than annoyance. The game didn't know weather to be an actual video-game or a western simulator. RDR2 didn't kn...
Yeah, I read over my comment and I retract what I said. I was tired this morning and I didn't think much about what I typed. I hate what Epic is doing and all these exclusivity timed deals. That is not gonna make people use your store, it will only drive them away. That along with a list of features that is not included. Funny thing is, Valve don't have to do anything about it and honestly I think Epic is going to keep fighting a losing battle.
Valve, the ball is in your park, yet you do nothing in response.
The sad thing is at this point I don't think Valve is going to do anything. Epic can keep buying all these timed-exclusive deals and that's it. Nothing is going to change. In the end we consumers lose. I don't see anything changing on both sides unless Epic gets extremely aggressive and buys every major 3rd-party game for the next few years. Even then, I still have my doubts that Valve will do any...
It's best to just abandon this game and move on for both developers/publishers and the people who purchased it. The game was a complete mess and had no real focus.
Yeah, they're winning at being anti-consumer.
