Wow, I honestly dont know how anyone could prefer the Halo series over the GTA series, let alone Gears. The Halo games are the most over hyped, mediocre FPS games ever made!!! Have to disagree with you there. Taking everything into account, the detail, animation, atmosphere and all the action thats happening at once, Gears doesnt compare in my opinion. As for the "couple of things" that you noticed, your just nit picking there, same can be said for any other game. You cant really compare a finished game to one that still hasnt been polished anyway. And as for everyone comparing with Halo 3, I wont even start, Jesus, what a disappointment.

What an awful fuss over one screen shot. You couldn't possibly be able to tell much from that shot. And I think I have to remind everyone here, it doesn't matter how pretty it looks, Killzone on the PS2 looked great, but man, that game was one steaming pile of horse sh!t. The original Killzone was overhyped, and both Halo 1 and 2 ridiculously over rated. Halo 3 and Killzone 2 are both going to be over rated and over hyped piles of sh!t.
Dual Shock definitley tops the lot. I'd give it to the 360 only if all the buttons were analogue. Triggers just dont cut it for some games (racing games for example) and what were they thinking when designing that D-pad?!?!? Especially with Arcade in the pipeline. Tekken is the King of fighters without doubt. You cant even compare it to DoA, doesnt even come close. DoA is absolute rubbish compared to it. Id nearly even put Tekken above Street Fighter II. Its the one game that will probably make me buy a PS3.

Nope, gotta disagree. Theres more skill involved in F1. One slip up and it could end up resulting in a 10 car pile up. Where do Nascar drivers train?? On the bumper cars at the fairground?? You just cant compare hurtling down a straight at 200mph, with a hairpin bend in front of you, trying to get your braking perfect to hit the apex and get good exit speed from a corner, all whilst not trying to cause a pile up, to driving around in circles bumping other cars out of the way. Gotta admit it didnt blow me away the first time, but after a few more viewings im getting excited. GTA was never renowned for having incredible graphics so i dont know why everyone is dissing the visuals, especially when you have to take to consideration of how big Liberty City will be in this one. Have got to totally disagree with you on that. I was really looking forward to PES on the 360, but man, sheesh, what the hell did they do to it!!!????? They absolutely ruined it!! As for people wondering which version will look and play better, well, seen as though PES6 is just an original XBOX game with graphics running at a higher resolution, I think you can bet the PS3 version will look and play much better.
More maps are great but Id much rather some new game modes. Deathmatch and CTF would absolutely rock in GOW. And of course the communication and lag issues are a pain and need to be sorted badly.

Yep. I was waiting for the PS3, but, after it was announced that it wouldn't be hitting our shores til March 07 I went straight out and bought a 360. If the Sept 07 release rumours are true, Sony are practically throwing away the European market share. No ones going to wait for another year. Damn you Sony!!! Why do us Euros always grab the sh*tty end of the stick!!!! I still want a PS3 tho =(
