Quality over quantity?? GT hasn't been on top since 3 released. PD have a mountain to climb to regain their throne with GT7. The series needs a complete overhaul. Some of my favourite memories in gaming have been with GT but they've seriously fallen behind the competition.
@Heavy: Remasters are all well and good, but I think I'd take a sequel over a remaster in a heartbeat.
I never liked the lore of killzone. I don't know what it was, but it just didn't click with me. I thought the Helghast were unimaginative, the story was meh and none of the main characters were memorable. But besides that I still actually enjoyed the games!! GG are awesome devs and I've been waiting for them to step away from KZ and work on something new. I can't wait to see what they come up with.
Jesus. That's bringing back some nightmares of the Aphex Twin videos.
I say the same thing myself every year coming up to E3!!! :-D
June 2015 "If we don't see anything about it this year.........it's dead!!"

Starting to think ill be dead myself before this game is finished, if ever.
I just can't see VR taking off, and that goes for Morpheus too. It'll just be another gimmick like kinect or move that's cool to try out and then it'll be forgotten about. Just like my lovely brand new 48inch 3d TV that I have no 3d games to play on now!!!
On the topic of the article though, I don't know how OR is going to help Xbox "crush" PS when Sony already has the tech and seem to be a lot further down the line in implementation than MS are judging ...
I agree that MP in some games is a waste of time and resources. TR multi was terrible but I thought Uncharted was ok and TLOU was pretty good when you got into it. But to say Gears MP was a waste of time and resources?!?!? Gears 3 is probably the best MP game last gen!!
I can't wait for the next GTA. I think GTAV is the best looking open world created for any game so far. The level of detail is still absolutely mind boggling today. No other game has a world with so many little touches and small details in every little nook and cranny on the map. Plus they just have a golden touch with making the world feel alive with everything that happens with npc's etc. I can't wait to see what they come up with building from the ground up for current gen.
I clocked 100 hours on Dragon Age just finishing it last night. Thought it was fantastic. My only problem was I'd levelled up so much before I decided to take on the Dragons and the final mission that it was piss easy. That was my only problem with the game. I think enemies should've levelled with your character. Overall though, great game.
Just wondering now, as I'm still getting through my backlog, do I jump straight into the Witcher or go for Bloodborne first?? Still ha...
Dunno how anyone could disagree with you on that. There's already loads of indie games on the PS4. That's not a bad thing but I'm also hoping for more megaton triple A reveals this E3 for the PS4. So far there's only been a handful of big hitters that actually delivered this gen.
Completely agree. Last gen I got the 360 first after the PS3 was delayed for the second time in Europe. The interface and online implementation was mind boggling. Then I loaded up my first game which happened to be GRAW and my head just completely melted!!! It really felt like a massive leap from my trusty PS2. There have been some great games released but I've yet to have a "holy sh*t" moment like I had, numerous times last gen.
I think I was looking forward to Deep Down the most of all the games that were announced alongside the PS4. The trailer gave the impression it was going to be a big triple A RPG/action blockbuster. When they announced it was going to be F2P my anticipation hit the floor. Then they announced it was all procedurally generated and the game fell off my radar altogether.
Well, Boba had a jetpack, so..........
Framerate in Unity does dip in places but it's not game breaking. I put a good number of hours in to it and only came across 1 or 2 bugs which again weren't game breakers. I enjoyed the game but I think the series needs an overhaul. This just looks exactly the same as Unity but with a grappling gun and set in a different city. And they need to stop removing things/abilities that were in previous games!!
I wish they'd release SF2:HDR on PS4. The wait for SFV is too long and I miss me my dragon punches :-(
The games should show up as "free" on the store.
Shovel Knight on PS+??? Das is de bullshitting!!!!
While I agree with what you say about the cars, the Nemesis system was far from being an unrefined mechanic.
Deluxe edition is €79.99 preorder on the EU store!!!!
Have to agree too. Ico and SOTC are up there in my top 10 and I can't wait for this, but even halfway through the demo I was wishing that kid would shut up :-/
