I was just about to post something similar Abizzel. Here in Ireland we got very few consoles at launch, another very small batch mid December and we've only had another resupply last week, but I believe there were quite a few allocations sent to the States during that time. UK/Europe just didn't get any in that timeframe.
The Warriors is another gem from R*. Manhunt was fantastic but I never got around to playing the sequel either. I don't know if they'd risk pumping huge money into a 3rd game now though, after the controversy around the first game and then having to censor 2. But Christ, imagine what a manhunt game would be like on PS5/1X 🤤

That's the right way to do it. Although, I think Sony and MS could've done better and avoided all this mess with scalpers by sending every active console a message/link first with the opportunity to pre-order. That way, all the current users would be first in line and it would cut the scalpers out of the picture completely.
How is that nonsensical Vermin? That's his opinion of the game, shared by many others. Technically the game is a masterpiece and ND have raised the bar for every other developer out there, but the direction they took with the story didn't appeal to a lot of people. No other game has split a fanbase as much as TLOU 2, and that says a lot.
Same here. Was waiting for PS5 to play GOT but not looking like I'll get my hands on one for a long time and then the game went on sale. I honestly don't know how any reviewer gave this game a low score. Combat is tight and intense, the world is one of the most visually stunning I've experienced and the story is keeping me more than engaged. Just begun act 2 and so far it's no less than a 9 for me.

While I agree TFA was just a rehash of a ANH, to be fair to JJ, it was just laying a foundation for the sequels. Then Johnson took that whole foundation and threw it in the bin with TLJ. Rise was a complete mess because JJ literally had nowhere to go with it.

Have to disagree Apocalypse. We had a national competition back when Gran Turismo 3 released and the top 10 Nurburgring hot laps qualified for the final. I think I must've done 100 laps using a pad and couldn't improve my time. I went out and bought a wheel and was lapping 10 seconds faster after about an hour of using it. Using a wheel is much, much faster.
