@DeathTouch: I think what you just said is exactly the problem with TLOU2, "it was not for you." Druckmann completely alienated a huge chunk of the fanbase. These are the people that made the franchise the success it is today and and it almost felt like he purposely wrote a story he knew wouldn't sit well with a lot of the fans.
Stroof!!
I don't know why you're getting disagrees. R* put out RDR2 with a LOT less money, a game that pushed a lot of boundaries tech wise with a ridiculous amount of content and features. Star Citizen NPC's are walking around like they've straight lifted the animations from Minecraft. These guys are laughing all the way to the bank right now.
I've been meaning to ask here what owners of the Pulse headset think of them. I'll have to say I'm not overly impressed with them. They fit my ears fine so I find them comfortable for long sessions and the sound quality is more then adequate, but it's the 3d effect that I'm most disappointed with. I find the surround effect to be very weak on them and I was expecting to be blown away after seeing some YouTube reviews on them. Maybe I got a dud set, or it could be my ears &...
None of what you said makes any sense.
It would be great to get some of the original Lara Croft attitude back in to the character as well. The reboot trilogy Lara really grates on me, and I found myself mumbling at the TV "oh just shut up Lara, stop whining and get on with it" in nearly all the cut scenes. The original Lara was a bad ass. It would be nice to get that character back.
@InUrFoxHole: You should definitely give the LOTR trilogy another chance. As for Harry Potter, the first movie was the only one I watched and it was enough for me to not want to see any more, but to be fair, I can see why it was a huge success as there's a lot for people to get invested in from the characters and their development, to storylines and lore etc. Avatar though? It's one of the most unexceptional movies I've ever seen.
It's great that 3rd party are starting to make games specifically for next gen (when do we start calling PS5/Series X current gen? 🤔). Shame it's an Avatar game though. I'm still bewildered as to how this became one of the most successful movies of all time.
I didn't know this dropped already. I see it on the store (PS4 edition) for €20. Is the enhanced edition a free upgrade from current gen or is it solely a next gen version that I'll have to find on the store??
A lot of games were started on hardware that were then moved to take advantage of a next gen system that was coming out, and I think they should've done that with HFW and GOW. Horizon looks amazing and I have no doubt GOW will too, but the fact of the matter is that they'll have to be held back in some way or another for it to also run on the PS4, which is a shame.
I really, really, really hope so, as I just bought the PS4 version in the sale last night 🤦🏼♂️
I've only recently discovered what the whole furry scene is after stumbling across it on Twitter a while ago. I've seen some sick shit in my time, but that stuff has to be one of the weirdest and f*cked up fetishes I've seen. It's absolutely bizarre.
I'd argue some games are very close to photorealism, especially when it comes to environments. Humans and animals, not so much yet.
I've been following loads of stock drop accounts on social media and tried getting one every drop since launch and finally managed to get one today on GameStop (Ireland). They seemed to have quiet a few more of them than they've had on other drops so hopefully resupplies are getting more plentiful and you might manage to get one soon. It's without doubt the most difficult and frustrating time I've had trying to get a new console and I've been gaming since the Atari 2600 da...
Can't understand where the hype was coming from for Biomutant in the first place. It looked like the definition of mediocrity since it was first announced 🤷🏼♂️
Here's a microscope for when you guys start comparing the length of your dicks: 🔬
Or maybe a lot of people just don't agree that it's the best PS4 game 🤷🏼♂️
So after outsmarting the wet bandits twice, he grew up to be a game developer. Cool.
These were my thoughts too, that they're just going to shoe horn segments in relative to the second game, which would be an absolute shame.
Recalling the axe was so satisfying and never got old. Legendary.
