By February 2009 I'll have moved to Australia and will no longer have my PS3 :(
Read, "LBP on a larger scale" key words being larger scale ;-)
*EDIT*
Just so everyone knows, I'm not trying to downplay this announcement, it seems like a pretty good service, just stating the connection I made.
"Microsoft Corp. promised to soon allow Xbox LIVE members to play, rate and share community-created games."
I read that and I think LBP on a larger scale, anyone else see that?
"1/2 of *all* internet traffic RIGHT NOW is digital distribution of media."
Do you have any links to back up that claim? While I agree that DD is the future I see it as being the successor the Blu-Ray more than being the direct competition (the way HD-DVD was).
When did reviews become law? I'm pretty sure we've all liked a game that got a low score and disliked a game that got a high score, my point is its all personal preference. One man's junk is another man's treasure.
If game reviewers are letting their controller bias get in the way of their review then they aren't doing their job properly. Review the controls not the controller.
Many of my friends who aren't "hardcore" gamers couldn't give a rats ass about what controller they're using to playing their games, the only thing they care about is whether or not they like what's being shown on screen.
"The exclusive games on Xbox 360 are better.
The multi-platform games on Xbox 360 are better."
Both of those statements are highly subjective and in the end it all comes down to personal preference, enjoy your console(s) and let everyone else do the same. Microsoft isn't going to start sharing it's profits with you for saying stuff like that.
*EDIT*
How can you disagree with that? Does Microsoft now have a fanboy profit sharing program?
It wouldn't be the first time the US government has done something anti-constitutional.
No matter what way it's proposed people shouldn't support it, give the government to much power over you and before you know it you're living in a communist country.
It's entry level so < $150.
Well, I went to the ProFX site and they don't even list any stats for the PS3. Take a look for yourself (the benchmark is suppose to be listed on the right hand side).

Why are you talking in 3rd person?
Gears of War is a fps? I could've sworn it had a 3rd person/over the shoulder view just like Uncharted does, I guess I'm thinking of a different game though...
It's a program that people use to benchmark their gaming PCs.
Looking at your past comments I'll go out on a limb and say you're a troll, have fun on my ignore list.
I was surprised when I didn't see Jade Raymond on that list lol.
I wouldn't really call TOCA 3 a racing sim (it's far to easy), it was more of an arcade racing simulation. To see an example of a full fledged racing sim check out rFactor or Live for Speed.
Glad to see that good AI is a bad thing these days.
This won't be GTR - GTR only features GT championship cars. This will be similar to RACE 07 - http://www.race-game.org/ra...
I still think rFactor is better than any simbin game out there RACE and GTR are still fun for a less intensive experience.
