I do believe the casting demo was done in-engine much like the MGS cutscenes are.
The way I see it is where most (if not all) other games are based around the "action" genre of cinema, Heavy Rain seems to be more of a "drama", something I greatly approve of.
I'm hoping they fired the AI programmer for Dom and picked up someone who knows what they're doing, "down again Dom" didn't come about his name undeservingly.
Your internal network may be 100MBps but I can guarantee you that your connection to the world isn't at that, you more or less confirmed my belief when you said it takes you 7 hours to download a mere 5GB.
Maybe that's an Eastern Canada thing but over here in the west (Calgary) Shaw does have a cap but its something stupid like 80GB/month but they don't charge you if you go over, I tested it and downloaded 100GB back in February and didn't get charged a dime more.
This looks nice but I'll stick to the Motorstorm franchise.
You say that like the PS3 isn't getting any heavy hitters this holiday season.
You more or less portray exactly what is wrong with this industry, far to much weight is put on review scores and whether or not a game is a so called "AAA title" (whatever that even is). This industry will never be taken seriously or be granted the art form status it so desperately wants so long as people like you continue to portray to the world what this industry is really about at its core, a bunch of man-children shouting numbers back and forth at each other about whose system ...
As much as I love the PES franchise last years iteration left a bad taste in my mouth so I'll probably pick up Fifa this year.
Those AI improvements sound pretty nice
I missed the part in history where "low" sales = bad game, can someone point me to that page, thanks.
*QUICK FACT*
Grim Fandango sold only 95,000 copies yet it is regarded as one of the best adventure games ever created.
I'll go against the flow, risk my bubbles and state my truthful opinion on this game (PC version).
Bioshock felt like a watered down System Shock 2 (no pun intended). Most of the features this game calls "innovative" were included in that game but were done better in my opinion. Yes I know Bioshock is the spiritual successor to System Shock 2 but something in the game just didn't feel right, I don't know if it was the setting or the gameplay but it just felt off. Give m...
Although I'll probably end up getting this game I can't help but wonder why this game isn't being branded as Devilette May Cry by the fanboys the way Uncharted was branded Dude Raider?
You say that like it somehow makes his words less meaningful. This title was once a multi-platform game, if he felt the PS3 wasn't all that great he could have easily chosen a different platform when they decided to go exclusive with one.
Well Ron Zook would be incorrect thinking the level of difficulty in the video is easy, they clearly state it's set to normal.
You're exactly right my friend, they exploit the Xbox user base to make money for themselves while not losing many potential sales from their user base.
It should also be noted that N.A. has been the 2nd largest consumer of FF games with sales usually being pretty close to the Japanese sales.
When you take a step back and think about this logically it makes sense that Sony wouldn't try and fight to keep this exclusive and here's why.
1) Sony owns roughly 10% of Square Enix (9684:JP)
2) If sales of FF 13 are good then Squares stock price will probably rise - this is good for Sony
3) Sony's user base isn't as strong in N.A. as the Xbox's and they're about even with the Xbox in EU/UK
4) Sony will be able to tap into the competitions user base and make m...
Netflix isn't in Canada so I'm paying $50 for the same ol' XBL
The 360 can easily do jaggies, just look at Forza 2 and Halo 3 :)
Looks good, should hold me over until God of War 3 comes out. I can't get enough of these mythological themed hack'n slash games.
