Even my girlfriend is impressed by this game, and I can't remember the last time she played a game.
Don't most games require a beast of a PC to run 4K@ 60FPS?
The GPU that shipped with the PS3 was Nvidia and wasn't as advanced as the one found in the Xbox 360 (AMD). The Xbox 360 was the first device to have a Unified Shader architecture, even beating PCs to this if memory serves me right. That unified architecture helped the Xbox 360 pull out to an early lead graphically speaking.
How standards have fallen...
Been gaming at 21:9 for almost 3 years now, there's only been a handful of games released in that time that acted funny with this ratio.
Not sure why more "gaming" aren't made in 21:9, it beats the hell out of 16:9 or 16:10.
6TFLOPs would put this slightly above something like a R9 390x, I really don't see this managing 2160p/60 on any demanding games, 2160p/30 might not even be achievable.
Fuck yeah, Calgary Flames!
Great, now Logitech can mimic these commands so my Harmony will finally work!
Not realistic unless most of the teams in America are playing in empty arenas until the playoffs start.
Even if the game isn't perfect I'll still play the heck out of it, I've waited too long for the space exploration genre to come back and now I'm spoiled with Elite: Dangerous (highly recommened), Star Citizen and No Man's Sky. My HOTAS is ready!
That escalated quickly...
Welcome to the party Xbox One folk, twitch is awesome.
Can't really test Battlefield 4 yet since the 14.1 driver doesn't have an optimized version of Mantle for my 7950s, apparently that's coming in the future.
I did see huge improvements when running the Star Swarm stress test where I got an average of 18.97 FPS using DirectX vs 45.71 FPS using Mantle. Exciting times a head for sure.
Been playing the game for the past couple of months, if you want to get in on the action early on the PC just go and pay the fee to get on the team. It's worth it!
I'll take my SilverStone TJ10 over any case Lian Li or anyone else can pump out.
Creative Assembly Australia is making Stormrise, they aren't nearly as good as their European counterparts (the guys who made Empire: Total War).
It was cancelled for Both the Xbox 360 and PS3
As much as I am anticipating this game I can't help but feel a little let down that the developers didn't chose a more interesting period of history.
Here's hoping they remake Rome Total war on this engine.
By that logic, Nintendo is the least creative company in the history of gaming.
