Anyone care to translate that?
I love how people can spin a price cut to be a bad thing when they're a consumer. How dumb can one be?
Sony: "We're dropping the price of the PS3"
Consumer: "DAMN YOU!!"
Sony: "Why are you angry?"
Consumer: "Because you're saving me money, I hope you rot in hell"
"You suck. Any PS3 game is great in your view and 360 games aren't. And you're working in a gamestore? You're a joke."
Pot calling the kettle black?
Halo 3 seriously inflated Microsoft's sales, smart move to get that game out before the end of the quarter.
Thank God I live in Canada where it's not illegal to make a copy of a song for personal use.
Check out the results for Rainbow 6: Las Vegas and Medal of Honor: Airborne, both use the UE3 and the 2900XT performs better in them. For the record World in Conflict doesn't use the UE3.
Lets break down your idiotic reply one point at a time.
1)I mentioned my TV because you said I'm only a PC gamer, already forgot what you said?
2)Click on my name to see my tags.
3)How am I a fanboy? And how did my age get into this? But for the record no I'm not a kid.
3)XBox and PS3 can do 1920x1200 but show me a game that runs at that res at 60FPS. The ability to do something and the ability to do it well are two different things.
4)Oh sorry, toss...
Really? I only have a PC? I guess my PS3 and Xbox 360 below my 42" television must be fake. Oh and my PC isn't weak, I have 3GB Mushkin DDR2-800, Intel E4300 1.8Ghz @ 3.3Ghz, Gigabyte 965P-DS3, OCZ GamerXStream 1010W, DiNovo Edge, MX Revolution, ATI HD2900XT 1GB and a 22" 1680x1050 Monitor so go spout your bullshit off to someone who doesn't know anything, kid. My Keyboard and Mouse alone are worth more than your video card.
Here's a more complete list for you:
...
It would seem you have different expectations for a console game than you do a PC game, none the less my $1200 rig runs the beta at 1680x1050 with everything at high (very high is disabled) and no AA since it does nothing in the beta. Now kid, run along and play at 1280x720 with 0xAA on your $400 console.
*EDIT*
Oh and your little list there, more expensive part doesn't necessarily mean the best part you can buy.
Actually Crytek is based out of Frankfurt, Germany and was founded by 2 Turkish brothers.
*EDIT*
How can you disagree with that? Its a fact...
2900XT performs at par or better than the 8800GTX in most games using modern engines (Read: Unreal Engine 3) and it also runs the Crysis beta better than the 8800GTX.
Consoles have 2, PC's have dozens.
My $1200 computer runs the crysis beta just fine with all the eye candy turned up. If you're paying $5000 for a computer you're getting ripped off.
Wait 20 seconds for a game/demo to install or wait 2 weeks for your system to get back from repairs, you can chose which road you want to travel down.
No one's saying that price will transfer over to the States, the 40GB may very well release at $400 there.
They gave away free TV's and people complained.
You can 'try before you buy' with PC but it's not very legal.
Really? You liked the MP Beta? I thought it was crap and took the game off my must buy list.
The RV670 is a beast, it has the same number of stream processors as the R600 (320) for like 1/2 the price, too bad I already got a 2900XT.
I was just about to type the same thing, thanks for doing the hard work for me. Bubbles for you.
