Must be why they said sales were "interesting", rather than "omg there teh besties evar".
North America this, Europe this, Japan this.
You call that interesting? That was about as interesting as sales numbers for any other game, and that means not interesting at all.
Japanese gamers are crazy for anything JRPG related, and also fighting games. That's why any Final Fantasy knockoff will do well, and why arcades are still very much alive there. In other markets, though, JRPGs have a harder time being accepted (numbered FF games being the exception), so knockoffs barely stand a chance, and I think the fighting genre is over saturated right now. It's really not surprising that this game isn't selling well. That's no reflection on its quality, it's just not th...
Sorry to be ragging on you again, but do you even know what you're talking about? I don't think you've even played Uncharted 2.
I've played the game inside and out, and I can tell you some parts are downright UGLY. Go on the train level and, instead of looking ahead and shooting your gun like you're supposed to, take a look at the trees going by. Behind a few modeled trees, you'll see an obvious static pasted background texture, and you'll even notice that as the physical edge of...
That's a scary thought. We'll just have to stop relying on material evidence so much--especially the visual kind--and more on people's testimonies, like in the old days. Somehow, though, I don't see society making that change any time soon...
You are talking straight out of your a$$.
It's ok to have an opinion, but don't try to pass it off as fact, and don't believe your bs so much.
If PC gaming "were to die", "progress as we know it" would not come to a halt. There's more to high end PC components than gaming. You're forgetting the whole world outside of gaming, where people have jobs and some companies require extremely capable graphics processing technologies. AMD, Nvidia, and Intel...
Is anything developed by google *not* a beta?
properly heat insulate the thing.
Gaming is serious business. It's time for use to take it more seriously.
/facepalm @ the article
Haha, right over the heads of gametrailers users too! No variant of smiley/winky/clever kitty face will make them catch on, either. They just get upset too easily--bunch of 12 year olds.
You really believe these people can become productive members of society? They SET a kid on FIRE, and LAUGHED. One of them showed remorse--he'll be in therapy for the rest of his life. The other ones, they deserve the worst they can be given.
They make what their market will buy.
Why spend a fortune making a AAA quality title when it will sell just as well as shovelware? And if there aren't more shooters, it's because they're not selling well.
And if there aren't more of them after The Conduit, then I doubt the trend will ever pick up. These guys made the best shooter they could for the Wii, and if it's not convincing other devs I don't think anything will.
Good comment.
And this article is pure bullsh!t. I'm really tired of these biased f*ing articles all over the internet that are just negative OPINIONS trying to be passed off as facts.
To the author of the article: the PSP Go has a point: PORTABILITY. That's why there's no UMD drive and why it relies on digital distribution. And the fact that you can't transfer your UMDs is not a negative thing IF YOU DON'T OWN UMDs to begin with. Any retard would realize that.

to find out whether the RRoD rate is as bad as it used to be. (Yes, it is.)
I'm just kidding. Seriously though, this is a weak way to guess which console will sell the most. The 360's been on top of that chart most of the year, and I'm pretty sure the sales numbers didn't correlate.
Either way, though, I couldn't care less. I own my PS3, couldn't be happier with it, and the list of games coming to my console is nothing short of stellar for years to come. So whatever...
I'm pretty sure I remember Yamauchi saying a while ago that the reason they didn't have damage was because manufacturers were refusing. But, on the other hand, GT's got some deep relationships with the manufacturers (Nissan went as far as letting them design their new GT-R's IP... or it's software, or something like that!) so I wouldn't count them out right away. If any developer's got the connections to make it happen, it's Polyphony.
That was embarrassing.
Can't wait.
Am I mistaken, or wasn't this thing originally slated to be a PS3 launch title?
my concern isn't usually with prices, but with release dates. We always read about the US release dates, but they never mention whether that includes Canada or not. The only way to find out is to go to a store and ask... It's a bummer.
Only if you're a bully like Mario!
