Face shot.
BFBC practically aims the sniper for you. MAG does the opposite: even if you're right on target, the sniper still won't be a sure-shot. That's why, in MAG, I found it better to aim for the body when I was sniping. I'd pull off two shots (as quickly as the recoil would allow me without sacrificing too much accuracy) to the body rather than miss three to the head. So doesn't this make the game realistic? Marksmen don't aim for the head because it's safer to aim for t...
At first, downloadable games were as expensive--or even sometimes more expensive--than their physical copies, and that was just absurd. But now the PSN is starting to have more and more sales, and they're enticing offers.
I hope it keeps on going this way and that PSN gets amazing Steam-like sales in the future.
the MW2 crowd thought the game was too hard..."
Haha, so true! God damn MW2 newbs ruining every game with their mass-crying (*WAH*WAH* MAG is too hard I'm getting owned all the time it's because this gun is OP change this gun and that gun *WAH*WAH* why am I still getting owned change the game some more add more random bullet spread so I don't need to aim anymore--yup, they ruined MAG).
It's taken you 25 hours to get there now, but once you're really familiar with the game (after a few playthroughs), you get so good that you can easily beat the whole thing in less time than that. It's been a while since I last played it, but I think I was down to around 15 hours for a complete playthrough--maybe less!
My first playthrough must have been around 30 or even 40 hours though.
because it's only in the magazine. You only read what the interviewer chose to write in this excerpt, so you may have been just as misled as anyone else who was fooled by the title.
Because it'll be so awesome it'll blow my mind.
It seems the development of the game was just as perilous and scary as the game itself! Uncertainty and doubt around every corner, and fear and stress with the initial response... But then it all paid off!
I'm glad I got to experience Demon's Souls, really one of the best games this gen, and an instant-classic.
Easily my two most rewarding gaming experiences so far this gen.
I've platted both Uncharteds, Heavy Rain, GoW3, Batman:AA, Assassin's Creed 2, and Infamous (well, I platted DS too! MAG soon...) and I've played the hell out of both Resistances, LBP, Warhawk, GTAIV, Killzone 2, and others... All this to say I've played most of the best games the PS3 has to offer through and through, and DS and MAG are the two I look back on the most fondly.
That's more than a year... Oh well, lots of things to play until then.
And I think it'll be a good launch window, I don't think there are any other major games I'm looking forward to coming out at the same time.
it made the game too easy. Go to Isle Closest to Hell, draw out the max amount of Ultimas and Full Lifes, and whatever other OP magic was on that island, junction them to the proper places, and you're invincible!
FFIX didn't sell so well because of its own faults?
Wow, it is pathetic to try and blame one game's shortcomings on its previous iteration in the series. If IX had been really good, there's no reason it couldn't have outsold VIII on its own merits.
(That being said, I did enjoy IX, I love all PS1 FFs, but I prefered VIII over IX.)
FFVIII kicked ass.
Honestly, God of War 3 wasn't as good as I expected it to be.
But Heavy Rain didn't live up to my expectations either, so I will admit I'm an extremely harsh critic!
All I will say is: the gamers won.
Even Heavy Rain managed it. It was completely gratuitous, but it was there. I could think of harder things to stick into a story than a shower scene!
but I got most of the games I wanted.
MGS, FFVIII and IX, Castlevania SotN, Tomb Raider, and Crash 2. Not many games left I really want to revisit.
duh!
Good point. Flower can be my summer theme, and U2 will be my winter theme!
At first, I have to admit, it was probably the fanboy goggles that prevented me from seeing any redeemable qualities in this game. But then after release all the hype was so positive that I warmed to it a little.
Had it been on PS3 then, I might have checked it out. But I doubt I would have bought it, because of how short and repetitive the game is. If they release it now, though, I say: NO THANK YOU. Too fucking late.
