Microsoft is pushing DirectX 11 already.. by then there will be probably directX 13-14... there is no way that Microsoft will sit on their hands... while the PC gamer refuses to play games that look like Atari in comparison... I mean.. once Windows 7 comes out... directX 11 goes full force... how long do you think it will be until console since look super last gen?
And just like the last PS3 price cut... it will be undermined by another xbox 360 price cut.

Because no matter what Sony tries to do one thing will never change. The PS3 will always cost more to manufacture than the XBox 360 thanks to the fact the xbox 360 does not have blu-ray and the cell.
Sony has to be careful... if dropping the price of the PS3 is countered by Halo ODST and another xbox 360 price drop than they will be faced with similar PS3 se...

Why don't we focus on things that we can't prove like, "PS3 has better games... PS3 wii-mote rip-off is better than Project Natal... Kill Zone 2 can't be done on the xbox 360"... sells are measurable which are too ...

What's the big deal? I also like COD4 and I played it a lot more than Halo 3... COD MC 2 is still coming regardless of what Halo game comes out... This change nothing but simply adds more value to owning an xbox 360 since one can enjoy Call of Duty games and Halo games... I don't see where you are trying to get at.. if you don't want Halo don't play it... keep playing COD4...

hey who knows... it's obvious that making Kill Zone 2 look great didn't stop the game from having very few people interested in the game.. according to NPD and the fact that it sold so far less than what halo did in 48 hours... So, adding acne to the characters may be the key to have Sony leg humpers actually but these hyped flops.
mmm.. wow.. I am not too crazy about Project Natal since it's just another project. and I am not too crazy about motion until I see some real applications... like the many other projects before it and others that will come after... but for the sake of comparison this mere project is catching the same level of hate that Halo or even Xbox live experience when they were first presented to the public...
