Sony did a smart and a stupid idea and the results are there to prove it.
It was smart in sony's part to add blu-ray to the PS3 because it ensure that blu-ray wins the format war. Sadly with the bad economy not many people are into blu-ray.
It was stupid because it contribute to a complex development environment for developers. It placed the PS3 at a price point that no game console should be. It create irreparable or hard to reverse damage to the Playstation brand s...
This has nothing to do with xbox or wherever... Zuhk what's wrong with you? Were you molested by him? How would you really know.
The reality is that the cases that he was accused which were dismissed in court and not found guilty each one of the parents all receive money.
Now tell me what parents that their kids get rape or molested would take money and shut up about it?
The reality is that if he was not guilty and was wrongly accused just to take mone...
You must do wherever it takes for to save money to your company. As long as you understand the specific needs of your company.
The company I work is relatively large. We have over 500 desktops and many other servers.
We will not pay more than $80 per license since we buy it in big bundles. Deploying Linux to many of ours users is not an option in the company we work we do not try to force users computer habits and preferences.
For example, we will not as...
lol! look at the MS haters acting as if:
A) They were going to use or admit that they use Windows.
B) Buy a software in their life. If you pirate software and download them illegally of the internet... the cut the bull crap.. you will not buy windows nor any software even if it cost $20. Why? because you are thief and steeling is a diseased which is why you wouldn't pay $0.99 for a song in iTunes let alone any software that cost more than $1. The reality is that for ...
dude.. first those charges were drop in court. I am not a fan of MJ but have some respect for the dead. No point on continuing beating those who left this system. Plenty of live people to pick on.
I do not understand the logic behind this.
The xbox 360 platform is build on top of DirectX.
If anybody is familiar with developing applications on Microsoft platform they will understand that Microsoft technologies always spill across platforms.
So, if Microsoft is working on a Game Engine "X-Engine" it does not mean a new console... it just mean a new API that can be use on the xbox 360 and will mature and and be use on all future Microsoft p...
but what about the other DLCs that are available to the xbox 360?
it seems to me that ther other DLCs are those that Microsoft funded hense why only this one is available to the PS3.
lol! look at the Sony leg humpers celebrating something that they do not understand. They too stupid and cant heard.
comments like,
"Another PS3 exclusive
Suck on it, xbots. "
"DVD/HDD limitations? "
"the interesting thing is even though they realize the 360 is equivalent to cheap pc they still develop for the ps3 and pc first."
Are you people seriously that stupid? I understand that the artic...
well... that depends... if you are in jail... I am sure even PSN would be a better alternative.
well.. it does not matter how much Sony leg humpers complain and insult them. It's ether Making their games where the have a better chance of making a profit or getting into a project that may require more than what they can chew and go the rout of Lair and Haze developer that for going exclusive on the PS3 and not having the response from gamers that they were hoping they went belly up.
It takes a little more than Love for Sony and loyalty to make it in this game industry... onc...
poor idiot here... is completely ignorant about the fact that video chat and messaging do not require a gold account and any silver (free) account have these capabilities.
So, what does this have to do with your ranting about $50/year?
Dude educate yourself so you don't make your Sony leg humpers look more ignorant than what they are.
mmm... geee... what do all these titles you mentioned have in common?
* All big budget.
* All back the blessing and personal support of Sony which includes sony resources like hardware engineers and the people that actually work on the APIs and the hardware.
* All made by huge development teams.
how on earth are you going to compare these two development environments?
That's like trying to repair a car for the first time with just online manual ...
True... just keep in mind that Netflix currently uses silverlight version 1.1....
This new streaming technology is based on silverlight 3 which supports AAC audio decoding as well as hardware-accelerated H.264 video decoding. The native multimedia pipeline is also programmatically exposed, so that other formats can also be supported by third-parties using managed code decoders.
Take a look at the speed in this page:
why bother... trophies have always being a half arse rushed workaround of what xbox live had (achievements) from day one.
The way Microsoft envisioned and executed Achievements allowed it to be natural and part of the xbox 360 gaming experience.
Trophies on the PS3 feel disconnected specially because it's not something that's available across all games. It's not cumulative and a consistent experience and therefore useless.
I only agree about this, "a currently struggling hardware maker (the same Times article noted that Sony's game division lost nearly half a billion dollars last year), to lose more money so that it can make more." lol.
Sony needs to learn their lesson for the sake of future Playstation consoles... no one asked Sony to make the PS3 so expensive compared to other consoles in the market... no one ask sony to make the PS3 many times more difficult to make games for.
...
People.. People.. this is not a debate about how many people agree with what I say... nor how much love you have for Sony.
My opinion is base on facts.. this is not about how you feel blu-ray benefit the creation of 2-3 games. Nor is about how you feel personally about me.
I stated the following facts and feel free to counter them with facts and sources that prove that these bellow are not true:
* Adding blu-ray insure that Sony win the Format war again...
