Thanks Mr Badhand, I was confused until you stated that.
Does not look as nice as non enhanced on PC. The forest looks like they have upped the brightness to high.

I want my games to look good, but the other weekend I loaded up KOTOR and played through it for the story, not graphics or gameplay. If a game is good enough in one department then it can offset being bad in some others. If a gamer wants to play a game because of Graphics or Story then thats fine. I played Uncharted 2 for those two aspects and enjoyed it even though the shooting felt a bit boring.
Kickstarter please :{
I play on PC for its exclusives like mount and blade and natural selection 2. I also like to mod and create games. PC Gamers normally have other reasons beyond graphics why they game on PC. The reasons I stated above are my main reasons.
Bonuses:
1080p
60fps
Better control options
AA
Asmith2306 You call people graphics whores because they can tell the difference between 720p or less and 1600p?
They are graphics APIs they take your code and translate it into instructions for the graphics cards. This is important otherwise you would need to write code for each individual graphics card if there was no API
TBH it may making piracy figures higher than they actually are. Because a lot of people with horrendus internet connections like to use P2P to download as thier connections are to unreliable for FTP or HTTP downloads even if they have legitamatly purchased the game. On the other hand they have won over the PC crowd by giving us hi res textures which should lower piracy rates.
System requirements for HDD space are not equal to download size. Still 35gb takes me about a day to download, Preload please
The bang for buck of that is better than getting a current gen console as they will both become obselete soon and that PC will run your games a lot better
and 1000 players in planetside 2
Its because those are optional. You could use a gamepad if you prefered and with some software use that for your whole pc. You may want to use your TV instead of a monitor. Windows however I would say is not really optional for playing it all. Add another $300 for those?
mouse and keyboard - $15
windows - $100
TV - you have one
monitor $100
so $215 more if you dont want to use your TV
I have bought already like 6 games this month, which has pretty much destroyed my funds
Steam take a 33% cut as well pekolie
@Kevnb Same here, but thats cause I dont have a console. Kinda thinking about buying Diablo 3 as its pretty fun but I just don't like the price tag :/
Kickstarter does not appear to be kind to FPS games, especially ones about a series that not many PC gamers care about.
Surely if your a community manager it does not matter what you think about your game, it should be what your fans and customers think about your game and you should ask what they want to see changed
The whole point of object orienrared programming is to reuse code. Thats why a lot of job titles are software engineer and not programmer, because a lot of the time you just have to put the pieces together. You can't really complain about them using the same folder structure though. Using the same art assets makes sense if they are not going to innovate in any other areas like setting or something
Been playing the beta now as well, Its fun when it works
I hate achievements, bloddy pop ups in my games. In one of my previous comments i asked a guy why he was going to re buy a game for "Teh trophies" and if the annoying pop ups made him enjoy the game more and he said yes. Im quite confused tbh, but to each his own. Some like to game, Some like to collect digital points.
