Yes it was
@MysticStrummer Bubbles to you good sir
you always post dumb stuff whenever you mention PC. Why is that?
That depends what games you are into and is entirely subjective. I just want Company of Heroes 2, Starcraft 2 HOTS, ARMA 3 and Mount and Blade 2 this year.
He said he wants to play original games like gravity rush which is definitely not a watered down game. I would like both original games and "ps3" games as I do not own a PS3.
That is a handful of arguable titles. Nothing as crazy and unique as Thomas was alone a game about giving character and personality to a quadrilateral or Octodad or any of the other smaller titles that are so far from the norm and all only on PC.
In my opinion there is hardly any innovation on consoles, no games near mount and blade or as realistic as Arma or as strategic as starcraft. There are a ton of inventive indie games on PC but you will only hear about them if you are interested in the PC.
CD Project has said there unannounced title is further into production than cyberpunk, I believe it is the Witcher 3.
Meanwhile I am playing through Kotor and Splinter Cell 1 on my PC. I believe that backwards compatibility is very important. I cant imagine having to keep my old PC whenever I upgrade, people would say that is ridiculous.
That BMW shot in the rain looked real to me
I thought the same but it had just been marked as junk, I just found it now after 3 weeks heh.
Heh I already have this CPU, and a 660Ti, 8gb ram ect. About as powerful as a mid range 2012 PC*
I already made this point but most console gamers on N4G do not understand hardware at all. 230w is crazy. The 360s power supply only outputs 245w. With the new models outputting a lot less.
The 8 core bulldozers are really power hungry and have some of the worst performance per watt. I have one at the moment and according to CPU Boss it consumes up to 230w. It would have to have a huge underclock to make it possible on a console.
Most multiplatform games on PC come in at around 6 - 8gb with only a few titles going above 18gb. On a decent fibre optic connection this takes less than an hour. Or around 3 - 4 hours on my 750kb/s. 40gb is very extreme with only MMORPGs using close to it.
My steam folder alone is greater than 1TB (230 games), if they take digital distribution seriously I expect at least a 2TB drive. My storage system is not enough and I have a 120GB SSD for OS and Dev programs, 500GB for documents and 2TB for games. Really hope we will see something comparable but I doubt they would be able to fit it in, maybe we will see an SSD/HDD hybrid in the next consoles.
What caseh said is true, I am not sure why people are disagreeing. The whole reason for showing bars instead of pings is to hide the numbers from the players. You see your clientside representation of other players however the client may not actually be there. Lag compensation. The reason you get shot when you are behind a wall (on your side). Without dedictaed servers pings are a lot worse, there is a lot of information about this if you do not believe me. It is in no way unplayable but I pr...
They are good but not as good, steam has way more titles in it sales and up to 90% off. It also has the huge collections of games for £30 and all of the indie games not to mention the games they gave away on the summer sales. I know I will probably get down voted for this but it is the truth. This sale pales in comparison to a steam sale.
Starcraft 2 HOTS is the most preorderd exclusive. I can't wait for the game but how many people actually have bought this retail. The numbers must be real scary when you add in digital sales.
Well the game IS better on PC so it would make a tad bit of sense however it would still be a crap answer (Higher player count, better graphics and 60 fps)
