Stupid numbers? I would prefer it if they cared more about performance than eye candy. If I can't play a game at max settings with at least 45 (feels smooth to me, but everyone is different) then I lower some settings.

Lol what? More diverse games? PC is the home of indie developers and genres not found on the consoles. RTS / MOBA / Simulator ect. You will find much more diversity on PC.

Well my speed has increased 10 times since last gen. I can download an 8gb (the average size on steam) game in under an hour. DD will happen in the future as it is cheaper, better for the environment, improves the performance of your game (games load faster of an HDD/SSD), more convenient than going to a shop or ordering online and waiting ages. Your games do not become damaged and can be redownloaded. It is only a matter of time. Saying it will never happen is naive.
The GPU is definitely not weak I think what landog is trying to say is that it is mid range and not cutting edge like the stuff put in the last consoles.
Steam is pressured by retailers quite a bit here in the UK with brick and mortars like GAME refusing to stock the console version of a game if it goes on steam. A load of THQ games were not listed because of this blatant retail abuse.

I don't see how this is possible without the games being created with this technology in mind. WoW had to go through huge changes to implement this. You have to create your game with modularity in mind. The Unity game engine makes this possible over a webplayer however the tech is not perfect and requires a fast internet connection or you get stuck in a loading screen while the information is streamed across. I wonder how many devs will bother to implement this.
exactly but I think it is a lot more complicated than the lowest common denominator. There is a lot of market research gone into this and catering to the lowest common denominator also means that less high end PC gamers will care about your product. if the lowest common denominator is moving to DX11 / Windows 7 / 4GB ram then it is already really high.
And I never said all PCs are more powerful than PS4. I never even talked about the PS4 or PC being better. I was just stating that both sides are as bad as each other and blaming it all on PC Gamers is unfair. I never told you what specs I have either so I am not sure why you brought that up. I have seen 8GB GDDR5 thrown at pc gamers as much as their specs have been thrown at console gamers.

You playstation gamers are always talking about your amazing exclusives however you don't understand that a lot of PC gamers do not care for the linear AAA experience and prefer playing sandbox or strategy games. Saying that Playstation exclusives are better than PC exclusives is just naive. What can be said as fact is that PC has more exclusives than playstation. I prefer PC exclusives such as Mount and Blade and DayZ / ARMA as they give you a blank canvas...
This is true. Normally a game is optimized towards two sets of specs min and recommended. Min should be capable of running the game at low / 30fps or some other goal.
For example Crysis 3 requires DX 11, This means it is Windows 7 / DX 11 GPU at min.
