It is not really black magic. The game is being rendered at a higher resolution and then downscaled back to your resolution.
It is DDR4 not GDDR4.
@hesido That is also a downside as it makes backwards compatibility much harder.
Nope, pcie 2.0 is not yet saturated by cards.
Except the new consoles hardly have any games worth buying at this point.
The game is already out in early access for people who funded it.
You are confusing MB with Mb. The average is 8.5Mbps.
My god sometimes I hate being affiliated with playstation gamers on this site. Who disagrees with someone congratulating the competition.
The definitive version of multiplats are on PC. Theres gotta be a better reason buy it. Or does that not count because it is better than a Sony device?
"You'd be surprised, Quite a few people still do"
Eh, you do know that 1 MB = 8 Mb right. A MB is bigger.
"We recommend a 5MBPS+ connection" Matthew Harper, Sony.
I don't think he actually understands the difference though or just has not realized his mistake. I don't think Sony have ever said Mb though. If he really did mean byte then this requires 8 times the bandwidth of onlive.
Am I the only one who has trouble remembering all the games they played and enjoyed through the year?
You still need a controller in the monitor for this to work much like G-Sync.
You do know that the monitor in question still needs a controller that is compatible with the spec. Sounds a bit like G-Sync right?
The real difference is that G-Sync only works with Nvidia where free sync can work on both.
"G-Sync isn't THAT special. It's something that sooner or later will become standard fare on all monitors/hardware."
Not big of a deal, will become standard. LOL
@Back-to-Back
Has Sony corrected their statement?
I would know it if that is what they said but it is not.
It is 5MB. So you need a 40mbps connection.
I think it is worth noting that the minimum connection speed is 40mbps for this. A lot of people seem to be confusing MB with Mb. Hope this helps clear it up.
b = bit
B = byte.
8 bit = 1 byte.
I have a pair of A40's and I find them very comfortable and luckily have not ran into the mic problem some people are having. Can't help but feel that you are paying a lot of money for the brand and comfort though.
