I have read a ton of comments on here, but the bottom line is: are people still buying the Xbox 360? The answer is obviously...YES! Now, I have no more intentions on buying another 360 (I went through 5 of them), but do respect/like a lot of their great games. However, Microsoft knows that a new Xbox system is pretty much a must....at this point.

Sony kicked butt on systems world wide sales in 2009. However, as soon as Modern Warfare 2 came out (Bundle system and stand alone game) 360 started smashing again. So yea, Sony will see yet another increase in 2010, BUT Halo: Reach, regardless if people like it or not (I feel like the Halo thing is tired myself), will help 360's fly off the shelves! It will hit for just as much as Halo 3 did...11+ million sold, which is an incredible and un-denyable feat.

Once again, I disclose my PS3-only favor this generation. However, the 360 has some stuff to listen to. 1st and foremost: Halo is arguably the biggest game franchise (By name recognition) in video game history. The expansion gets rid of the care packets and kill streaks. (I know it can't/won't...just saying) I am not whining, but I did rent this game 1st, and noticed some things. (The game is still fun though, I just won't get $62 bucks out of it.))
The camping is not an issue with me, as I love smashing campers. (LOL) However, the MP maps all appeal and support this type of gameplay. ON top of that, I felt much better about knowing what you needed for UAV, Air Strike, Chopper stuff.....
I disagree with the list of both Killzone 2 and Halo 3. In fact, if these games were combined...there would be no other shooter to match this creation. However, they are separate, and they both have a few flaws. neither are anywhere near the word "FLOP". Flops are games like: Lair, Tony Hawks: Ride, Haze, Too Human, 90% of Wii games (not made by Nintendo), and damn near ALL movie "Snatch & Grab" video games. As a PS3 only gamer, I give props to Halo: Combat Evolved and of course...Halo 3. Yea, the series is getting dated, but Halo 3 had some great stuff. And although sales aren't everything, Halo 3 did hit for damn near 11 million copies sold! (Only Mario Kart Wii's 19.9 million, for a single console and no PC game, sold more...this generation.)

I would check out Mass Effect 2, and Alan Wake. For my PS3...I am very excited for God of War 3, GT5, Heavy Rain, and the multiplat game...Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
All the games look great, but I am sure that a lot of them will be delayed, until 2011.

I let Socom: Confrontation slide because it had a great Bluetooth headset included. HOWEVER, this should have been done by someone else. I respectfuly disagree with yoru statement. Halo: Reach didn't show anything, except a cinema scene. Uncharted 2 had ALL of it's shot game footage with the cenima/cut scenes combined. (So well, that gamers didn't even know when to start playing again.)

Killzone 2 looks and play incredible....far better than any other current shooter. Although I don't work for neither MS, Sony, or Nintendo, I have studied/observed the past few consoles. I have always preferred Sony because they have proven to support their game consoles YEARS after the launch of their next system. In the case of Microsoft and Nintendo however, they are ran differently.
