I don't get fanboyism and refusing to purchase a competitors console.
No idea why people pay attention to DF.
They always show/compare textures/graphical detail with stills, with a zoom level.
When you are playing a game at normal levels (No zoom) are you going to go up close to your monitor or TV and look at the pixel differences on that wall or that foilage? Of course not, you will be too busy playing the game to notice or bother.
DF are pointless for this very reason.

The problem with this there are more dumb consumers out there, who like garbage, then smart ones. Unless that changes, this will only get worse.
For those on the fence on this game and are learning towards getting it, don't.
If you have the option to do so (those on PC), pirate the game instead. Do not give them a 'sale' out of curiosity or being on the fence. This allows you to satisfy that curiosity without giving them a sale.
Gives me a valid reason to pirate WB games now.

This isn't so much about the hardware not being powerful enough to handle 60fps in this game, since there are games like Spiderman 2 & Horizon Forbidden West, which looks better, open world and runs at 60fps. This is more about whether the developers can be bothered to put in the effort to optimise the game to run at 60fps.

Seems like we have some competition and Nintendo doesn't like it, because now they may need to put some effort into their Pokemon games. People were starving for a great Pokemon game and never got one, which is partially why Palworld is as successful as it is, while also adding other game mechanics which mesh so well.
This is why Companies get away with greedy tactics like this, because people bend over and take it.
Companies will always look towards ways the consumer pays more and gets less. Overpricing, less content, nickle & diming, subscriptions models. In other words greed.
And saying that, theres people who say “But piracy is wrong. Stealing from Companies”. Yet they don’t look at the other side, how these Companies are robbing consumers through greedy tactic...

This is why i never understand fanboying over hardware. This is not like a sports team, its just hardware. Why some people have this mentality to pick a side and stick with it and refuse to look at other platforms, therefore depriving themselves of games that are only available on those platforms. They are suppose to be gamers after all?
IMO they need the equivalent of a platinum trophy if you unlock all achievements for a game

XBox circling the drain. This is what happens when you have no real competition. Why bother putting resources & money into quality 1st Party PS5 exclusives when you have a stranglehold on the market and just make remasters instead.
This is why we need competition. Sadly Microsoft have no idea what they are doing.
Lets be honest, Sony as a whole have fumbled this generation, when talking about exclusives (PS5 ONLY).
From an exclusive standpoint, this has been the worst generation for Playstation. We are now pretty much 3 years in with barely anything to show for it. Of course sales are great, as expect, due to the brand name alone.

You should be using an ad blocker. There is absolutely no reason not to.
This is what happens when you release a quality game and putting gamers first. This reminds me a lot of The Witcher 3, with the quality and gamer friendly focus.
Lets hope the success does not go to Larians head, like it did with CDPR
