Not sure about this. Looks like its been downgraded from an action rpg to a generic fps to appease the casuals. We shall see.
Wouldn’t surprise me if it will be $80. If there is one game which can set the price to $80 and not have much, if any impact on sales, it’s GTA VI.
Both are totally different games.
Battlefield is more of a tactical shooter for veterens
COD is for casual gamers (pick up and play)
It's like comparing Mortal Kombat to Street Fighter, or should I say traditional Street Fighter.
So it's $50 US dollars for 13 hours of gameplay.
How much was Clair Obscur? How long was that game?
Still seems overpriced for only 13 hours. $40 max IMO.
It better be an amazing 13 hours
Interesting. KB/M is great for people who aren't good at aiming in videogames, though how is this going to factor into people who use controllers?
"I assume that DICE will lump console KB/M players together with PC players and utilize input-based matchmaking."
Never assume, though you would hope this is the case. Last thing you want is for people using controllers to be matched in the same match as scrubs who can't aim.
300p ?!?!?! LOL
Even using the magic of DLSS, 300p upscaled to 4K or even 1080p would be a blurry mess.
Secondly, seems like the Developers didn't even try to optimise the game.
I am starting to believe that Ubisoft really don't know why their games aren't good.
Do they seriously not notice that they use the exact same open world template for all their games?
This is partly the fault of the publishers who are overpricing their games.
I mean look at the new Donkey Kong. This game should be $60, at MOST. Nothing in the game screams $80.
Young people, if playing on PC, should learn how to use torrents.
So in other words, DLSS is not here to hide poor optimization?
Lack of DLSS does not explain performance drops. A lack of optimization explains performance drops.
There is nothing super impressive, graphically, with this game, to which even a Switch 2 can't handle.
It just so happens DLSS isn't in the game to HIDE poor optimization.
Take 'Sucker Punch' 'Sony' 'Ghost of' out of the title of the game and replace it with 'Ubisoft'
I guarantee you the same people defending Ghost of Yotei, would be brutalizing it, just like these same people did AC Shadows.
This describes The Witcher 3: Blood & Wine and that was an expansion.
TotK felt more of an expansion. (Same open world, new content and story) BoTW had a sense of exploration. TotK didn’t have that same level of exploration simply because you were exploring the same open world you already did in BotW. The puzzle shrines were also inferior due to too much focus on the new “glue objects together” mechanics.
Perhaps FBI resources should spend investigating and concentrating on things that are more important, not people "stealing" $$$ from a company which doesn't need anymore $$ anyway. Nintendo make enough profits.
Oh and btw, good luck taking down all the torrent sites that have the ROMS.
Don Mattrick created the 'beginning of the end'.
The 360 had a strong install base in the US market, then all of a sudden the next generation, a lot of them flocked to Playstation?
Why?
- Maybe the RROD was part of it and they were sick of it and were going to jump ship anyway?
- The Price of the Xbox One compared to the PS4
- The 'Always Online' aspect of the Xbox One
I believe all 3 of the above played...
Hopefully the story is good, though seems way too similar to AC Shadows "Eliminate the big 6". Hmm wonder where we had to do that somewhere?
Judging by the gameplay/combat, I am not seeing much difference compared to Shadows, yet not seeing the same level of criticism here. Seems pretty simplistic. (I am just being objective) Perhaps because this is a Sony exclusive?
Of course, watching is different to playing, so we shall see.
"We have no plans to release on Playstation 5"
The lies.
This is not true for all games.
Games like Clair Obscur, KCD2. If they were $80, I would say they are worth it, as they bleed effort and passion, which translates to an amazing experience.
But, then theres games is games like AC Shadows, which doesn’t even meet a $60 price based on its low quality. And then theres games which are buggy to hell on release.
Most games dont justify a $70 price tag, which is why game piracy has increased over the las...
Talk a bout a massive exaggeration.
The environments, enemies and especially story, will be the same regardless of which perspective is used.
Having said all that, 1st Person will always be superior in games like this, simply due to the far superior immersion. 1st person 'brings you into the game world' type of feel. 3rd person feels like 'you are following behind the person who is in the game world'
Then there is VR, which is 1st...
Don't the BluRay discs degrade over time anyway?
I haven't tried any of my old PS3 discs myself, but yeah.
So instead of putting effort into improving performance by optimisation, they decide they can't be bothered to optimise and lower the shadow quality? lol
