"it'll be gamers fault if this game doesn't do well despite the game being good"
I don't know about this.
Dragon Age is a well known IP. If it doesn't sell well, it won't be because its a small IP no one has heard of or is niche.
If the game doesn't do well, it will be because its not what gamers wanted.
Instead of game designers catering to what THEY want, or what they 'think' gamers w...
Few days prior to release? Bold move, considering the reception the game is getting. Either they are confident that their game is actually good, have no awareness on what gamers actually love and think that gamers will find it great, or EA paid off IGN for high scores to advertise their game as great.
Not sure why Sony thought they needed to do this.
Xbox is circling the drain and are at the stage where they aren't a threat to competing at all, so why bother?
Attractive women are outdated preferences?
People buy a product based on what THEY want, not what the WRITER/DEVELOPER wants.
This is what happens when you dumb down a franchise.
This is great news.
People should stop supporting extra greedy Corporations like Nintendo!
Not to mention it will run better too.
Remasters (yes I am going to call it a remaster not a remake, even though technically its a remake because it was recreated in a different engine etc etc, but its the same game that is enhanced, hence 'Remaster') never work, unless its a remake of an original that is old and came out a long time ago, which is why remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Silent Hill 2 work so well. The originals came out so long ago, that the graphics and gameplay are outdated by todays standards and, on top of ...
Not if its optimised properly.
Horizon Forbidden West, or Spiderman on PS5, for example have higher quality assets and run at a higher resolution at 60fps modes compared to the PS4 versions that run at 30fps.
This is clearly an optimisation issue. The fact that there are other games which are graphically better and run at a higher framerate, screams bad optimisation.
If frame rate is important you game on PC NOT consoles.
The mentality of people who are interested in the Pro seem to indicate that both graphical detail/resolution and/or framerate are important.
Even a mid range PC will get you both and the graphical detail difference between a mid range PC and a PS5 Pro is considerably larger compared to a PS5 and PS5 Pro.
Spend a little extra and get a mid range PC.
People choosing to get a PRO over these small differences is puzzling.
You make a decision to get a PS5 Pro for these minor improvements, so obviously these small differences matter to you?
If that is the case, get a gaming PC, where the differences are a lot bigger then what we see here between PS5 vs PS5 Pro.
I don't get the mentality.
The mistake both Sony and Microsoft made.
Nvidia > AMD
Really DF, pushes PC hard? No it doesn’t. The game looks great don’t get me wrong, but saying it pushes PC tech hard is incorrect.
The power of China!
Who plays 2TB worth of games at once?
Use an external hard drive. No one plays this amount of games at once anyway.
Once you are done with a game, move it to the external. Having ganes you have completed just sitting on the internal hard drive is just wasting space
Talk about a selfish person. That money could have gone to something worthwhile, like charity, instead of wasting it on something you don’t need.
$499 for hardware that is weaker then a console that came out 8 years ago?
My money is on Starfield..
The new expansion is also coming out next month.
Timing seems to fit
The Switch 2 will not be able to handle current gen AAA ports though, unless they are talking about last gen games?
Performance wise, Switch 2 is equivalent to a PS4 Pro..
Now of course not all 3rd Party games are of high technical level, but still, we are talking about PS4 Pro levels of power and then there is optimisation. Not all games, but there are quite a few games where developers can't even be bothered to optimise games properly on PS5/Series X. The Swi...
If, for whatever reason, you find the DLC difficult, even though you managed to progress through the main game to get to the DLC, then use the options available to you that make it easier, such as:
1 - Grinding
2 - Summons
If the game is too difficult, there are options available, like the two above, that lower that difficulty.
Unbelievable, some people.
Good luck with the lawsuit ;)
Does the PS5 Pro Quality mode offer any other improvements compared to PS5 quality mode outside of ray traced reflections? Watching on phone at the moment, so hard to tell, doesn't help that its a YouTube video either.
