Just because Bloodborne doesn't need another game, doesn't mean a new one shouldn't come out. The last one was a blast and seeing what could be improved on the sequel would be amazing.
I hope this is just the beginning and Microsoft will be looking at buying or starting up new game studios in Japan too. Japan always is known for quirky games and games like that would be welcome on Xbox.
I know it would be a game changer and a welcome one too. I remember a few years back Casey Hudson joined Microsoft, I was expecting him to help launch a RPG studio, then after three years he ended up back at Bioware and sadly no new game came out of it. So as an Xbox fan and game fan seeing what what could be done for an exclusive RPG would be great. I'd like to see what a new modern open world FPS RPG Shadowrun game could look like. If not that maybe an old Rare game could be revived and...
I hope this studio will become Microsoft's RPG studio, because that is one area Microsoft could see some improvement.
With Rare making a new IP I hope it will take what Rare learned in making Nuts & Bolts, but be a new game instead. I know that Banjo Kazooie game didn't get much love, but I feel like had it been a new IP people would have liked it more, so making a new game could be fun.
I know right. I saw your comment after I posted mine and hopefully the team is big enough so one team is working on the Surge 2, while the other is making Lords of the Fallen 2. Because LOTF needs a sequel.
The first one was good and it will be interesting to see what the sequel will bring to the table. On a different subject I remember the team that made the Surge was working on Lords of the Fallen 2, so I wonder what happened to that game.
I personally think Ninja Theory could pull off an amazing action RPG if given the chance and i hope that'll happen.
There is always next year and hopefully next year a new Power Stone, Dino Crisis, Breath of Fire, Dragon's Dogma, Bionic Commando, Ghosts 'n Goblins and Mega Man will be shown.
It is crazy to think the spiritual successor to Dead Island is getting a sequel before Dead Island. I personally can't wait to play Dying Light 2, because the first one was a pleasant surprise and hearing all the improvements for the sequel sounds great.
I'd like to see Lost Odyssey 2, please.
I hope this remake sells well, so Capcom will think about remaking Dino Crisis and Power Stone next.
Really great news. I hope in the future more developers will go with a higher Frames per second over a higher resolution. I've seen the difference between 1080p and 4K and yes 4k looks better, but I'd much rather have smooth gameplay over better graphics.
Everyone needs to support this game, because we all say we don't want forced multiplayer and if we don't buy this game it will make the chances of forced multiplayer that much more likely in other games.
Now that would be a big win for Microsoft and then they could make a new Shadowrun RPG game.
I know I might be the only one, but I hope at a later date Gears Tactics will come to the Xbox One too.
I know a lot of people want to see Mistwalker bought and don't get me wrong I'd like to see what Microsoft could do with them too, but seeing as they are more of a concept company over a company that designs the game I feel like the two l listed would be great for Microsoft.
Plus seeing as Reality Pump is part of Topware Interactive you get the chance that some developers could share ideas with CD Project Red and vice versa, because both companies are close to each...
Well said about Bioware, I remember an article with Phil Spencer and he said had he been the head of Xbox at the time he'd have done everything to purchase them. I've said it before in other comments and I'll say it again having a first party RPG company is the one thing MS really needs and had MS bought Bioware they'd have made a great purchase.
Mistwalker would be great and it would help in the RPG department which Microsoft is sadly missing.
I really hope this is just the start of many more game studios to be bought next. I'd really like to see MS buy a RPG company. TopWare Interactive and Piranha Bytes aren't as big as some of the other more well known RPG studios, so l could easily see either of those companies being bought and if so they'd be a great add for Microsoft.
This and Dragonpunk: Tribe of Gods which comes out in April will make Ark: Survival Evolved an even better game than it is right now.
