As a gamer, I'd personally prefer to have guaranteed 60fps over 8K any day of the week. A higher Frames per second is more beneficial for games than a greater resolution.
It would, but I doubt that game would be ready by launch, maybe by the end of 2021, though.
As much as I like Uncharted, I want to see a new Jak and Daxter game first. That series hasn't seen a new one in years and it is time a new one comes out.
THQ Nordic already bought it from that state. I am surprised they haven't already brought out a remaster for PS4, Xbox One and Switch, yet though. Maybe the sequel will come out on PS5 and Xbox Series X instead. One can only hope.
I'd love to see a new Perfect Dark. I do wonder if changing the formula up, would be a benefit for it or not and what I mean by that is changing it from a first person shooter, to a third person shooter.
You got hints of a TPS in the Xbox 360 version and I can't help but wonder what a whole game would look like.
I also think bringing in elements like how Deus Ex is an immersive SIM would be perfect for the universe of Perfect Dark.
The amount of players seems really high if you want to keep the game being a FPS or TPS, but if it was smaller like 30 vs 30 I can see that working better. I can totally imagine fighting a siege like in Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones, being fun.
So I think there is potential with that idea and it could be a medieval like version of Call of Duty. Where there is a story mode and online you work to kill the king. That would bring a new meaning to King of the hill, too. ...
The world could definitely use more Macross and Robotech games. In all honesty more space SIM games in general would be welcome.
I like your train of thought, in that we need more unexpected games.
I remember before Horizon Zero Dawn came out people were saying the game makes no sense with robotic dinosaurs and then look what happened, it became one of the most successful games ever.
I just wish I could give you the money to bring your space to light. So keep that idea in your pocket, because you never know you might get the winning lotto ticket, to make the game someday.
That is an interesting concept. The first thing that comes to my mind is the movie Monsters and how the area between Mexico and America changed because of the alien influence.
Another thing is concept art from a fan project called Fallout: New Orleans. Where in this version the levees never broke.
Also there was a History channel documentary special called Life After People and it talked about with no people left on Earth, New Orleans would become underw...
This is amazing looking and I just know it would have been fun too. I really wish Valve still made games, I understand that Half-Life is coming to VR, but I want more than that from them.
I can't help, but wonder where games would be if Valve pushed the Source engine, like Epic does Unreal. I'd love to see Source 2 games on PS5, Xbox Series X and of course on PC.
Valve is the only one that can give Epic a run for their money, on game engines, i...
I so am looking forward to this game.
I do wonder if it might be smart to remake the original versions and bring them out on PS5 and Xbox Series X, so GSC can turn a quick profit. I personally want to see the sequel more, but if they can contract a remake out to someone else, I can see that being a benefit for the company and make it so S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 doesn't get delayed for the remake.
Google Stadia will never be successful. If Google really wanted to compete with Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft, Stadia would have a disc drive.
Then on top of that Google has no games that people want for Stadia. Google should have invested in first party games, before they ever brought out a system.
Even Amazon has talked about joining the console market and we just were shown the game New World. Plus Amazon even killed Double Helix Games.
...
I'd personally would prefer to see Star Wars games taking place in the expanded universe, instead of this one. Luke and Mara Jade's and Leia and Han's children are more interesting than the ones Disney brought.
There is huge potential still with that universe and giving people the chance to play video games about that universe, would be a way for Disney to differentiate between the two Star Wars universes.
Hopefully a new IP. I'd love to see what they could do with a medieval action adventure game, in the style of Red Dead Redemption, but in ancient Europe instead. If not that something that is even less shown is medieval China, that would be something different to explore and would be fun to play.
I just wish WB Games or Rocksteady would make a Batman Beyond video game. Getting to play in a Cyberpunk world of Batman would be something really unique compared to all the other former Batman games.
I really hope Bungie makes a new IP over ever going back to Destiny. I just never have liked it, like I've liked Halo and Marathon. Bungie is one of the best video game developers around, but wasting their talent on Destiny, which is a MMO like game, just is wasteful.
Bungie hasn't made a good game since Halo, sadly. They can make great games, but Destiny isn't one of them. Hopefully soon, they'll go back to making games people want to play.
People Can Fly has made a Gears of War game in the past, so I can easily see Microsoft wanting them to work with Xbox again, maybe they could bring back Perfect Dark.
I'd be done for a new game being a launch, or near launch game for the PS5.
I'll be honest if Microsoft really doesn't have exclusive games for the Xbox Series X, I won't have any reason to buy a console day one. So that would be a huge financial mistake on Microsoft's part.
Just spit balling for an example if Halo Infinite is exclusive to the new system, that will help sell the new console, but if it is on both consoles, the rush to buy the new system won't be there, like it would have been, if it was exclusive to the Xbox Ser...
