sony has never hyped up this press conference before and never to this extent. if they hype up this press conference then not announce the ps4 that would do more harm then good to sony. there is literally no other option now that all this fuss has been created. they never live streamed this event before the fact that they are livestreaming it proves that they want everyone to know. sony not announcing ps4 on 2/20 will be damaging to them at this stage
yeah it is almost certain it will be called ps4 there were some rumours early on that the ps4 will have a name change because 4 is an unlucky number in some Asian countries but i find it very very unlikely that the name change will affect countries world wide probably just china
the fact that they didn't just say up straight that there will be a wiiU version shows some hesitation from devs to create games for the wiiu. i want to know the cause of this and im sure nintendo will too. a pc version will be a welcome sight.
awkward moment for nintendo fans when their console is not even getting multiplats. i guess the Italian plumber will keep you company. nintendo needs to think why people aren't creating games for their console the biggest supporter for their console ubisoft has just snubbed them when they decided to make the highly anticipated rayman title multiplatform and the nintendo fans didn't like that at all. other than ubisoft they don't have any real support from third party devs

if it can run on ps4 they will consider it. no reason not to unless there is technical barrier as with the ps3 but planetside is a very cpu and ram intensive game. recommended specs are atleast 8gb of RAM an intel core i5 or higher which is a 3.3GHz quad core and 1GB of VRAM the rumoured specs we have heard of so far fall short of all those requirements apart from the GPU. i'm sure sony will make it work if they wanted to but that just shows you how far consoles are from pc. the good thin...
yep i think heavy rain was revolutionary is aswell in the gaming industry though many people would say otherwise and i think Beyond will be just as important. getting real actors to do a complete mo-cap that includes body,face and eyeball movements AND the voice acting at the same time is a huge step forward. i respect sony for making that possible.
no they wouldn't hype up a press conference then announce the ps4 randomly on youtube before then. though it would be awkward if someone at sony uploaded the ps4 video out of anticipation ahead of time.

i think pc has higher priority over wiiU many people are calling for a pc version which would make sense since the game plans to be around for 10 years pc is definitely the place to do it as you wouldn't need to worry about compatibility or hardware. i agree with @abash if there was a wiiU version planned there's not need to hide it.

i hope its not another generic sci-fi shooter. gaikai will provide huge support for the playstaion brand specially if it can provide a service similar to that of steam but for consoles. i still think it would take gaikai some time to get there and while it may be the future of playstation the 2/20 will more likely be focused on the ps4.
