rare needs to make another good ass platformer! With the genre nearly non existent this gen, that game can standout and I'm sure they'll be enough fans to support it.
big budget titles does not always equal a great game.
someone's comment on ign to the article pretty much sums up how i feel,
"This article does not provide any informaiton anyone vaguely interested in Mass Effect 3 does not already know."
honestly we really don't know if it'll be a breeze for devs to develop for. You can't judge by those demos Capcom or Konami shown. They were done using existing games and assets which proabaly required them to port or downgrade to the NGP.
And with the visual capabilities and power of this system, don't think for a minute that the cost of developing a game for it will be cheaper because it's on a handheld. Developers will have to put as much into making th...
i hope all you fanboys screaming nintendo got pwnd better be there day one to buy NGP, no matter what price sony sets at!
you don't consider the touch pad in back or touch screen a gimmick? Did you see in that Uncharted demo how he swiped his hand over Drake just to move him over the rock or when he used the touch pads in back to to make him shimmy up the rock. 95% of people playing will use the 2 anolog sticks to control the character and that's a fact. And you will see alot of that optional control method for most of the games released.
Not to mention so called "hardcore" g...
unfortunately, the back touch pad and screen will be the leased used by developers. Especially with the dual analogs.
damn...Marcus aint got a neck!
why do they keep mentioning that this game should have co-op? Imo that was one of the low points of Res evil 5. It takes away from one of the best aspects of the horror genre, being utterly alone.
definitely feel this guys pain, I've been buying games from amazon a lot lately. Especially with their great deals on just released games. I tell me self "i better get them now at this price before they're gone!". and with that my "games to finish" pile is just getting bigger and bigger...to many games to little time. sigh, wish i were in high school again...
i find it funny how all these "limited" editions of games are never really limited at all. They're always the first to get discounted before the standard edition, and you have no problems finding them. This should tell publishers something, stop releasing them at such a high price!
agreed, why is it they're always touting shipped units as if it equates to how many games have actually been sold to consumers?
metroid prime, that's all i have to say...
"Go play some 4-5 hour long shooter if you "don't understand".
that was a dumb thing to say, especially when it has no relevance to my comment.
i don't understand how this game has bugs and glitches up the wazoo (even if patched), yet people are still playing it. This kinda proves what devs already know. They can release a broken game and because it's popular, folks will still buy it.
he's actually right. especially when it comes to most gamers. just take a look at most the comments on this site alone
shouldn't this article be labeled as "opinion" rather than "news"?
Agreed! They have some good games on the service, but little to no advertisements for them... damn if only I could run nintendo for a day!
the only coolest/ memorable moment in the whole story was when a certain some one caught a bullet in the head.
one thing i can agree on is that Epic's characters do all look the same, as if they're all in the same universe. Unreal tourney 3, gears o war and now bulletstorm.
