they probably want to gauge early user interest in the title. That's the only explanation I could think of. And I'm pretty sure that everyone who pre-orders, will be a guaranteed buy.
this game could've been a whole other game on it's own. Just keeping the destruction tech from the red faction games. but alas, just another shooter lost in a sea of shooters
several gaming sites that have had ACTUAL hands on have dispelled the "uncomfortable" to hold notion. And I know that from a company like nintendo who has been making games and consoles for way over a decade would know a thing or too about making a comfortable controller
And some of these so called game "journalist" wonder why game companies get mad at them. It's miss quoted articles like these is why the have every right to get mad.
there are far to little people on this site that have an open mind for gaming like you. It's always good to see those that do.
if he does speak, gamers will be angry. they won't like the way he sounds or it won't be the way they thought he'd "sound" when he talks. nintendo can't win either way.
some people are contempt to keep playing the same old way until they die lol. I for one welcome change and the risk game makers take. If it weren't for those risk, the industry would be boring
it's funny how people are quick to label things as gimmicks yet have no problem with stuff like achievements and trophies. Which are arguably one of the biggest gimmicks in gaming right now. Yet no one cares that they are. There's people playing crappy ass games straight thru just to get achievements!
And some devs are using them just to keep people playing their games. Case in point, Crysis 2 has an achievement/trophy for playing the game 6 months after you've p...
nintendo is always damned if they do, and damned if they don't. It never fails for each console they make :/
they need to fix that texture load in problem when the engine is used on console games.
it's a testament to how good the gfx's were in the original res 4 that it still looks good next to the hd iteration
IMO one of the best versions of SF made. Especially love the animations, parry system and excellent soundtrack. I also liked that capcom choose to go back to a slower pace and less hectic fighting system compared to their "vs." games and their SF alpha series.
this game is fun and the combat is well done. The visuals are colorful and the art style is cool. But it's sad that these types of game aren't being made any more. Im mean really, were are all the damn platformers!
this generation has brought out the worst in gamers as far as graphics go. And i really wonder how many of the people complaining about low resolutions can tell what resolution that most these games are running at without reading the back of a box or digital foundry!
all types of games can be fun. whether they're simulation, arcade, strategy, etc. it's a matter of opinion as to whether you like those styles of play or not.
@superman
the vast library of games and cheaper price has nothing to do with that right? Not to mention the newest version of monster hunter recently released for the psp in japan. FYI that game is a system seller ;)
so when did calling a game an "arcade experience" become a bad thing like all you guys are making it out to be? Doesn't sound like he bashed L4D at all.
yay for fps's that don't revolve around real world scenarios!
they seriously need to give their secret to other devs as to how they can make their games stay at 60 fps with the amount of stuff going on during gameplay! That's one thing that always impressed me with the COD games.
funny...the title of this article clearly states that it's something about the Wii U, yet you came in here anyways looking for news on the next xbox and playstation...o_o
