i can agree with you on that! that's one thing Im disappointed in with the 2 powerful consoles. Why aren't most of the games running at 60 frames per sec? and they constantly throw around hi-def this and hi-def that yet a large majority of the games aren't running at full resolutions. what the hell is up with that?!

Im def’ having fun with this game! and another cool aspect of it is it’s use of music. as you start painting buildings and objects the music builds up adding different layers of instruments and beats. Plus when you change the color of de blob, it also acts as a different sound selection for the music. this game looks fun and it's nice to see some arcade boxing again. i hope nintendo brings back the mother of all arcade boxing games though and i shouldn't have to name what game that is!!!
they're the only mag that covers nintendo games and don't see'em as a joke, like the other magazines. i see some of the sh*ttiest next-gen games get more coverage than wii games in most mags.
i should've been more specific, Mushroom men for the ds and wii look good and from some hands on impressions read through out the net, it looks to be a cool game. im more excited that it's a new 3d platformer that's actually good! why is it they don't make these types of games anymore? next-gen is all about FPS, racing and shooting games. were are all the platformers??? hell look at what they did to the new banjo kazooie game for the x360 :(

i don't think it'll suck like you think it will. This looks to be like the oldschool mk games. None of the weapons,runs, animalities and all the other crap that started to water down the previous mk games
you and a lot of people were/are in the same boat. Hell i was there too brushing this game off. But after seeing the walk thru and talking with the devs. this has become one of my anticipated games. It looks to bring the series back to its glory days and it's funny how it took iconic comic book characters to do so.
you should def' keep an eye out for this game. Its one of the few games this generation that doesn't take place in the future or some post apocalyptic world lol...It feels like the original prince games but at the same time it's new. And im pretty sure they'll have a demo of this bad boy!
it may look slow because theres more frames of animation in the characters, but it still plays fast enuff. Also they're going back to their oldschool roots with this version of MK. No babalities,friendships or animalities. the only thing they're keeping in is the brutalities because the DC heroes don't actual kill anyone. They just severely beat the crap outta them.
of all people im waiting to see is one of my fav characters, raiden! and that joker fatality is kinda funny lol
the game does look decent and plays pretty good. I really wished they made a straight up adventure game tho. The fighting game genre is getting pretty full with the upcoming MK vs DC, Sf4, and Tekken plus the recently released Soul calibur4
