Games as a service... Jesus SE, you never learn. You were successful when you made well-developed RPG games and cared for coherent stories and deep characters...
Now you want to chant the failing Xbox game development mantra of GaaS is the future? You've already killed Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider, Deus Ex and Kingdom Hearts with either side projects or modernisation for the ADHD, shoot first, explore later, shitty, casual new generation of gamer who don't appreciate ...
Really? Downvotes for using logic? Man, the world is a dumb place.
But if you haven't played it, and by just calling her 'that Nier character', you wouldn't know anyway. Try playing it and then comment. 2B is a pretty deep character, she just happens to have an attractive body. Nothing wrong with that.
This is why I don't trust reviewers anymore. 4/5 for a classic, well presented, story driven game with great characters and systems and amazing graphics for it's time...
Yet HG scores FFXV 3.5/5. Half a point under a review for a game that didn't have any complaints of mention in your article, yet the FFXV one is complaint after complaint.
Either you score a game with little fault 5, or you score a game with a multitude of issues a lot lower.....
I can see it being the same price as Odin Sphere Leifthrasir... I'll probably have to wait for a sale this time.
Still play Front Mission 3 and 4 from time to time. If they can get the mech customisation and deep combat into a third person shooter, I'll be happy.
Can we get the old FM games on the PS Store too please? ;)
I'm not even going to read the article. The answer is yes.
Played Secret of Mana so many times in the past 20 years or so that I can say it's probably my favourite game of all time.
So much fun playing as a kid, 2 player with my sis, all the way to last year.
Timeless classic.
As long as it's direction is left in the hands of Yako Taro, and the clever suits who have managed to bugger up Final Fantasy and Kingdom hearts over the past 10 years keep their grubby mitts off of it...
I'm ready to pay for it, day one.
Nier 3...
If it's cross play, do I need to pay a fortune for it... Again?
I love the game, but paying £55 on the PS3 store was a nail biting experience. I really don't want to pay that again, never mind if they boost the price on PS4.
Can you just let me transfer it from my PS3 account? I paid £55 for it already.
Why? It's not great sitting at home in front of the TV playing this repetitive, non-FF drivel... Why would I want to play it on the train, or while having a dump?
It's nowhere near a soft reboot. It's a continuation of story, seeing as Kratos is old and introducing his son. It still has it's old back story, so not a reboot of any kind.
I wish people would pay attention to terminology as much as they think they can predict the future.
Pretty cool, I'm all for inclusion from developers. However, if Atari make games with skimpy armour and female nipples, I expect the LGBT community to respect Atari for making games for all, and not complain, since they're catering for all and not just one demographic.
This is still Assassin's Creed people. Whether it looks good or not is moot if we get bored of collecting shit off the map after 10 hours...
I haven't bought an AC game outside of a sale since Brotherhood because paying full price to be bored to death for 70% of a game is not worth the time, no matter how good it looks, and I'm pretty sure the difference between 1x and Pro will be tiny by comparison.
And that's why EA, Ubisoft and Activision haven't made anything original in the past ten years.
It's mainly localisation that takes time, but all Japanese developers need to do, is employ the translation teams at the start of the development cycle to knock some of that time off.
Making games faster always turns into a stale state of sequels with little innovation between one game and the next. The same thing applies for making too many games a...
Maybe... Until more gameplay footage of God of War, Spider Man and TLoU2 gets shown later in the year and Pro sales take off, especially if the price gets reduced to £300 per console.
Sony don't need to sell Pro for profit, as it's exclusive AAA's will net them that cash.
No buyers worried that for it's power, it's a very small, badly vented case a tenth of the size of a PC case that can fit liquid cooling and a few fans to stop overheating?
Either it's going to be loud as hell or melted in the space of a couple of months.
This ain't a rib, it's a genuine concern.
That tiny, badly vented box is going to overheat preeeety quickly with the power it's supposedly running.
I think all publishers who make games with microtransactions with random loot boxes, should be punished by having their ESRB/PEGI rated at AO, and a large fine placed upon retailers that sell the game to kids/teens and promoting gambling to the underaged...
Cuts publisher audience figures, as they've lost the teen sales and discourages publishers from trying to add them to every game possible, like we're seeing more of every month in AAA, full priced titles, instead...
