Thanks for the link. Trying not to read or watch too much about the game in case of spoilers, so I don't know very much about the new GoW.
I hope it's like the Nier series and delivers more or alternate paths to multiple endings.
But that's the reason why lazy reviewers stated Automata was a short game... They never played past the first credits.
Can N4G please filter out clickbait articles? If you can't write an interesting article for deserved ad revenue, you shouldn't be in journalism at all.
Everything is half arsed, fake and argumentative for the sake of lining pockets these days... What the hell happened?
It will always be my GOTY 2017. Nothing touched it in comparison to story, gameplay and soundtrack for me.
The first Nier was exceptional too. Had a second playthrough a couple of months ago.
Is The Binding of Isaac on the list? Can't read it due to a fullscreen ad with a tiny, tiny close button.
TBoI is digital crack.
Pixel wanking comparison video from Digital Fuckery tomorrow, showing the minimal differences between Pro and X versions.
Special sauce stains all over Eurogamer from all the pointless ad revenue clicks abound.
Doom is awesome, no matter how good it looks.
Polygon... No idea.
Make games, not clickbait news if you want to stop crying about a developer's personal choices, or just moan about politics away from gaming, you soft-skinned, whining gimp.
Ah well, Trackmania Turbo should be fun. Already have Mad Max, which is a really good game if people missed it.
I was just about to put the disc in for another run through... I'll wait until tomorrow then. Great news.
I thought griefing was part of the gameplay. There goes that important mechanic.
I agree too. It's getting ridiculous to use on mobile.
Yeah, but there are a lot of games out there for £50... And some of them have a lot of gameplay content AND beautiful visuals.
SOT should have been £20, but that's games as a service for you.
Hellblade is £25, less in all the sales... It's undeniably more stunning, has great, varied gameplay and doesn't pretend to be worth more than it is. Let that sink in...
Yeah. Definitely looking forward to some new Tom Clancy games, whether it be Splinter Cell, The Division 2 or Rainbow 6 (single player campaign).
It'll be nice to see if they do some new things with their military shooter franchises.
People are downvoting you, but I get it. Burnout is wide ranged on series' that have stuck to the same formula for years, especially with short breaks in release windows between games.
AC Origins put my mind to rest that Ubi are actually moving in the right direction though. It felt different enough from the previous games and breathed new life into the series. Maybe FC5 will do the same.
Ridiculous notion. I loved 3, but 4 felt like a chore after the previous game. I still haven't bought Primal either, as there has been too many seemingly better games releases in the past couple of years.
The reskinned map of 4 put me off of buying, seeing as I felt 4 had the worst map of the series.
5 does look good though, but again, too many other great games coming that I've not been burnt out by yet, so I'll probably pick it up in the Ch...
Games have saved me numerous times over the years. Ocarina of Time is one of them, as it was a transition from a huge change in life for me when it was released. I was a teenager at the time and needed a story to be lost and immersed in and OoT was perfect. I took exactly the same message away as the writer of the article, that no matter what mountains you have to climb, you just keep going, no matter what the result.
Star Wars Galaxies, Secret of Mana (SNES), Final Fantasy...
Gamespot. Years of Microsoft bias and advertising revenue.
Strangely enough, they were a great site circa 2000-2005.
Why? I'm a huge fan of RTS and that's since games like Warcraft and Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat on PS1.
Tropico 5 actually played great on PS4, which I wasn't expecting. There's room for all genres if done right on any system.
I will admit, keyboard and mouse is much better, but why limit gamers that choose to play on console and might find some new found enjoyment in a different genre?
It won't be Fable as we know it. It will be games as a service Fable.
One of the best MS franchises that will be hacked up to feed the shareholder wallets. Sea of Thieves has proven the route MS wants to take, and that's delivering as little as possible so they can drip feed their first party games as a live service, instead of releasing something worth £40-£50 out of the gate. That or filling them with microtransactions.
Still play the ...
As long as I can pound Thor's head into pulp with Mjolnir, and thumb Odin's only eye out and feed it to his ravens... This game will probably be my GOTY.
