That can be said for any console including xbox and PS not just the switch. PC hardware can be upgraded constantly, consoles work within the boundaries of the built in hardware.
You seriously think ps owners would have given up their years of building up their psn profile to migrate over to gamepass. Maybe the minority might have but most gamers would probably have found something else to play on ps.
Thats a shame, thats 10 million less that will get to play the game. Should have stayed multiplatform
I don't think the issue is about xbox having exclusives, it's more about MS not creating their own exclusives but buying them instead, and taking them away from other platforms
Feel sorry for starfield devs, all that time and effort only to have your work accessible to a fraction of the industry's user base.
Biggest difference I've seen between 60fps and 30fps is the jittery screen when panning the camera. It May be more pronounced on the more responsive oled screens . If starfield can avoid this then they may get away with 30fps
Anything less than 60fps on an oled TV looks bad, due to the quicker response times
This is just another piece of hardware Sony is selling. Being a hardware company at heart this is what they do. Be it a TV, dvd player, camcorder etc the list goes on. They will keep on making new things to sell and in this case marketing guy Jim Ryan needs to try his best to sell it.
Buy if you want or don't buy it, Sony will likely make some money from it and move onto making another product to sell.
Could be good if you can use it as a secondary menu or stats screen on the controller when playing ps5 on tv
Sadly seems like the xbox series is dying a slow death, it's a shame after a decent start to the gen.
Shows that having a plastic box under your TV that plays games is as popular as ever.
Imo it does effect sales in the long term. I don't think the subscription model can hold onto customers in the long run, once they have played the games they wanted they may not want to hang around and wait for new games to be added.
Pros and cons for both.
Physical is oftentimes more cheaper as retailers compete with each other to offer the best price or move the stock out of the shop.
Physical also offers more flexibility I.e by allowing you to pay by installments or to part exchange if you wish to do so.
This
with numbers like that its game, set and match for Sony this generation surely.
Hopefully MS will be able to retain the talent at Activision...
..
I don't understand why people want games for free? Surely your in the wrong hobby. There's plenty of others hobbies that are more or less free. Not saying you should change hobbies but Just an observation from all the GP subscribers comments above.
Sorry but I would have to disagree. Imo Cod if it moves over will lose players. Any sort of disruption is not a good thing in terms of growing a userbase.
Seems like news surrounding the activision MS deal has had no impact on PS5 sales whatsoever.
