Actually, it's a nice addition for soccer fans (poor lost souls...) and I did grab the Nightmare Mansion table for Pinball FX - sweet!

I own four "great pcs" and a Mac to boot. I don't play games on any of them. I gave up pc gaming years ago. I own my 360s (3, two Elites and my Launch Premium 360) BECAUSE I can play PC games on my TVs effortlessly and comfortably in my living room, study, and bedroom.

My pcs and my mac are for my business and home use. I am an excellent multi-tasker but I won't 'play' on my pcs even though they are more than capable of running any game out there.

I do ...

I hesitated, briefly, for the same reason 'riksweeney' posted above. But then I took the plunge. I'm glad I did! I forgot how much fun this game is!

Carcassone really is a great game. There's a lot of strategy and planning involved. It's really very addicting. I certainly recommend it for anyone seeking a change of pace.

I purchased 2 copies of Halo 3, (1) Limited Edition @$69 and (1) Standard Edition @$59. I purchased two so my wife can play alongside of me---or against me, lol!

In any case, here in the U.S.A., as stated above, $59 was the LOWEST price out of the three Halo 3 versions available. With that understood, it is safe to say that Halo 3 has already made over $500 MILLION dollars!

One other point, Halo 3 will keep selling well as new 360 owners purchase the game on reco...

I have a huge library of 360 games, both disk-based and Arcade. It's impossible for me to look at any of those games where I still have locked achievements and not want to give them another try.

Microsoft's introduction of the Achievement Points system is one of the most innovative and worthwhile additions to console gaming in years.

Achievements have created a 'game within a game.'

Genious!

Halo 2 is still selling very well with current lifetime sales listed as 8,450,000 units. In this context, Halo 2's $40 million spent for development and marketing come across as genius well-spent!

Halo 3 offers much more than Halo 2 in every area. Halo 3 has rightfully taken the crown as Best Multiplayer Console Game from Hal...

Troubled post from above in quotes: "15.5 -
I would rather have a diverse library of games bringing in constant revenue than a couple of blockbusters. Quality over quantity."

For clarity's sake it must be noted that you were referencing PS3 vs. 360.

The 360 has more games listed in TOP GAMES lists, more AAA games, and more games sales overall than the PS3. Why? because it IS quality AND quantity, PLUS diversity.

Nice post, BCB. Right on the money!

Bubbles for you.

Now first, I have to say that Halo 3 is one of my all-time favorite games---I love the Forge and Multiplayer. There are just so many new games types and map variations that it never gets old and I never tire of creating them.

Now with that out of the way, I again state that it is marketing that can make or break a game. As much as many here dislike Halo 3, some for valid personal reasons; others out of plain old envy, Halo 3 was mrketed beautifully!

With the tota...

We all own 360s, and yes, we all own a lot of games. I've been gaming since the days of PONG and ASTEROIDS and have owned and still have, most of the game consoles released (one each of course!).

I'll tell you what made me choose the original Xbox over the PS2: I knew that Sony was an excellent hardware manufacturer but I saw MS as the by far, superior software company.

I had been playing a great many PC games and knew that MS had excellent relationships with mo...

Blu-ray and HD-DVD exclusives only pertain to hard-media and not digital downloads.

I do not purchase DVD copies of movies in any format unless I intend to watch them several times over or unless they have special meaning for me and are worthy to add to my collection.

I only have basic cable, 85 channels, which for me, are already about 75 channels of garbage. I don't watch enough TV to warrant more. So for me, the convenience of Marketplace movies and tv shows i...

Arcade is a great place to be.... for both the game developer, and the gamer. There is just about something for everyone as Live Arcade has a great variety in titles.

There is no way anyone can knock $114,579,606 in sales to date. And from digital downloads at that!

I've purchased 35 arcade games to date and I love them all!

Take a look at Arcade's first million seller baby, tha classic card game UNO:

Uno 4,776 (wk)
$5.00 (cost) ...

I can't wait for Crackdown 2, I've heard rumors from the developer that they have even more wickedly mad stuff planned for the next one.

A lot of people cry out that they don't need Achievements to prove how good they are; they claim that everyone already knows.

Several things in reply to that mindset: First, Achievements are not about bragging rights, certainly not in their initial value. They are about 'completion' and 'determination.' And Second, when Achievements are used as bragging rights among friends they add greatly to the ever present level of competitiveness friends already enjoy!

Noodle, I would LOVE to hear your opinions if you would ever post anything with valid content that contained worthy discussion material.

We all know you are a sonyTroll; why don't you try being objective for a change. Try it, it would be a nice change.

Until then, your comment above should be reported as SPAM as it adds not a single item of value.

Chromehounds, also by From Software, blew AC4 out of the water with its SQUAD-BASED MULTIPLAYER!

AC had better single player mode as Chromehound's was really just a long training scenario. It was good, and it really taught players how to view and handle all the different RTs (role types) but it was the ongoing Neroimus War and Squad play (Clan type!!!) that won me and 11 of my Friends List gamers over.

The game is sooooo addicting with its vast---VAST array of cu...

You've betrayed your dishonesty.

Your opinions no longer hold any value. After all, who in their right mind would trust a thief?

Ignored.

@meus below. I won't waste time explaining that you are indeed a thief and a callous one at that. Your sarcasm is a poor, childish offense. Someday, you might find yourself in a situation where YOU have items stolen from you. If that day comes just laugh it off and tell the thief if caught, that's i...
