Fable II will see sales off of this. Hippies everywhere will be singing Fable II's praises only to be followed by an extended chorus of Kumbaya.
Please don't disagree. You'll harsh my mellow, man.
peace!
I hate when people use the invisible shield glitch on me. It's so cheap.
I go one further... I say it's cheep---as in 'cheep, cheep' said the little chicken.
Rein's post ended with him stating that the shotgun is getting some extra attention in the update patch. We'll just have to wait and see.
HORDE RULES! Seriously, I have at least 15 people on my Friends List with whom I regularly---er, continually, play Horde. Talk about intensity!
Beyond that, the upcoming patch is welcomed. As so many of my friends, in addition to those regular "horders," own Gears 2 I will no doubt be playing all the multiplayer types for a long time.
For me, and millions of others, Gears 2 is a great game---and a must own. There will be snowball fights in Hell before ...
[BEGIN QUOTE] Neither of them are acceptable, simply because you can't quantify all of the variables that make a game worthwhile. Enjoyment, control, sound, visuals, and the innumerable intangibles that go into the experiences are impossible to define through a number.
If you ask 50 different people what a 7 means to them, you'll get fifty different answers. Furthermore, each number means different things to the big publications and media outlets as well, which further taints ...
Because the iphone is more useful than the PS3, at least to non-gamers. Cooler too. Admit it.
You are worse than ignorant. The current financial meltdown was fated during the abysmal reign of the worst U.S. president in modern history: Jimmy Carter. Fannie Mae & Freedie Mac began their dark, socialist road to disaster under Carter's disastrous tenure.
The second worst president in modern history, Bill "it depends on what the meaning of is, is" Clinton guaranteed Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac's impending doom by passing additional legislation forcing the mor...

Unlimited streaming and as many dvds mailed as I can watch & return.
Who cares about "owning" Iron Man or any other movie when I can have all I can watch 24/7!
I have a great hdtv & sound system and a 16mbps internet connection. I live in northern Wisconsin surrounded by national forest land and hundreds of lakes, rivers & streams. The nearest 24hr Wal-Mart is over thirty miles away.
I can get a year's worth of Netflix and th...
It always be a personal choice. I am not knocking Blu-ray though I am convinced it will be a comparitively short-lived format.
As a promoter in the music industry, I have far more cds, vhs tapes, dvdz and yes, blu-ray discs than I could ever wish for my worst enemy (if I had one). Most of my assorted media is stored and archived by necessity, not out of love or desire for holding a plastic disc in my hand. Sorry. I don't feel the need.
Do I have "physical me...
And all too true at that!
Seriously, you would hope that anytime a gaming enhancement comes along all gamers would be appreciative regardless of which system the enhancemant appears on first. If it's truly worthwhile it's only a matter of time before similar versions will appear on competitors systems.
It's a plus for everyone.
Seriously, Party Chat only enhances Xbox Live's awesome "invite to game" and "join game" features.
For example, I have a large group of gamers on my Friends List that enjoy playing Gears 2 with each other. I might start--or join--a session of Horde on Gears of War, after the game slots are filled, other gamers will often join our PARTY CHAT so they can be notified instantly when a member of the Gears-playing group has to leave for whatever reason, quickly a...
will not be named Xbos 720.It is just a speculative phrase used by some when referencing the Xbox 360's successor.
in its ability to attract, amaze and addict gamers. It is still selling well, better than MGS4 for example, and without a doubt, still selling Xbox 360 consoles for Microsoft.
Take a look at Bungie's own Halo 3 tracking stats:
Unique Players (Last 24 Hours): 594,045
Matches Logged (Last 24 Hours): 1,249,922
UNSC Campaign Kill Count: 8,614,177,407
For a console-based game the numbers are impressive but when considering all the grea...
I play Gears 2 multiplayer every night with no problems at all. So do most of the gamers on my Friends List. All three of the new maps are great for playing Horde. I've already got several hours in on each.
I do play a lot of COD:WoW because it's a great game as well. But Gears is simply more viscerally satisfying and fun for my tastes. As great as the origianl Gears was, Gears 2 is so much better!
In any case, it's all subjective: play----or don't play. It's you...
Someone above was puzzled as to why the PS3 shows a higher LTD sales figure in some areas but is being beaten, handily, by the 360 in weekly sales.
It's called trending. The 360's weekly sales figures have increased markedly since the price cuts. Combined with the release of popular console exclusives, Fable II & GeOW 2, the 360 is enjoying a near doubling of its weekly sales figures.
So, everyone, just enjoy all the great games we have to choose from regardl...
As has been stated in previous posts: it's all part of the normal leasing cycle.
New movies will replace the old.
I have to say: I'm loving Netflix on LIVE! I've dropped my premium movie channels from my cable provider as a result. Netflix---for my viewing preferences is far better and far less costly. I'm sold!
Pop, shoot, duck only carries so far. While it, thankfully allows for health regeneration in place of scavenger hunts for med-kits, skill is STILL required to progress in the game at higher levels AND to be competitive in m.p. matches.
Mundane it is not.
An "8?"--no way! 9.9 pushing 10 hard? Definitely!
Though in reality, it wouldn't be nearly as fun on the PS3 because of the lack of a party system-- with "out of game/in party chat" and the sophisticated invite system. Gears goes better with Friends!
And as another noted, it's not an 'either/or' situation. Playing games made popular by their board counterparts does not exclude enjoying them in the traditional manner, i.e. playing the originals.
In fact, I believe this might actually work in the favor of the originals as many young people give little heed to anything NOT videogame related. It's possible that playing the video versions will drive a number of players to look to the board versions---especially when away from ho...
