have this cable. It's not the end of the world. The 360 didn't included a battery or cable. So, what's the difference. You do have one with the system. If you want more go spend a couple and I emphasize a couple bucks on another one.
Now I can register my Live name on the PS3 network for when I get one down the road!
There could be a way to hook it up to the PS3. I would require a hombrew app, but it could happen.
I am on my 3rd unit.
You know that this is quality control issue as with all the other games, such as GRAW, GOW, Halo2. They don't have enough time to test the games before release.
You of all people should know this. It has nothing to do with the hardware.
I have played GRAW and had worse crap happen then this that didn't go away. So should I say the 360 is crap? No, the programing is the problem.
Don't deny the truth.
There aren't as many people playing resistance there because they don't like FPS as much as we do. But according to posts online, there have been plenty of 40 player matches and they were raving about it.
Come friday will be the test when the servers get loaded with american players.
I won't have it on launch but I am buying the system for resistance and many more games to come. Also, I will continue to get the good games for the 360 also.
They said that it would work with all games that followed their guidelines. Anyway, everyone knew this already since the PS2 couldn't do 100% of the PS1 games that this would happen. the plus side is they can create patches for the FEW games that don't work to make them work. This is the exact opposite for the 360. They have to patch the emulator for every game to get it to work in the first place.
I don't want to sound to negative toward the 360, because I own one, but t...
They will get the sequel.
Much better
There are only a few people that I like to have on my "master" Live buddy list. I am always hesitant to put random people that I only see in one particular game on my list. If you can had multiple lists and link them together it will work.
As always you come off as a jerk.
If I want turn it off, I can. I definitely don't need to explain my preferences to you of all people.
No, it is not because of kids.
I just jumped over to the xbox.com forums and found you can turn off the "extreme content" i.e. the "f" bomb and gore. For those who had the same question.
Are there options to town down the blood and language also? I haven't picked the game up yet.
This is good news.
I think this move is a little premature. The hi def dvd movement is the immediate future. Streaming speeds aren't high enough to do 1080p and of course the hard drives are too small. That is where the PS3 shines with the ability to put a larger hard drive in. I read recently that Sony has joined with other big name companies to establish a High def streaming standard. It won't be around for a few years, but with the option to increase hard drive sizes, the PS3 could fit in with the new p...
With the advent of upgradable hardware via software updates, these systems have the ability to evolve. To me, that is one of the biggest pros for the new generation. If something isn't working right they can fix it.
The PS3 was running at 1080P at E3. So if you want to get all technical, they were the first to have 1080p on a console. That was when MS was bashing 1080p. As others have stated, they bash something, then implement it themselves. Very fickle.
Both side (MS & Sony) should shut up and do what the consumer wants and ignore the other competition.
I would like to compliment you on being an idiot (great thinker as you call it)
1. Your arguments about the PS3 not having the numbers for this Christmas are the same arguments that others had about the 360 a year ago. I had to wait til January to find one for myself. So that wipes away the launch issues. So what was the point? People will get a substitute until they get what they want(i.e. buying a PS2 last year until they could get a 360) So the trend continues.
2....
Sony announced this type of digital distibution before MS jumped on it. MS has the advantage in that they can implement sony's ideas after they announce them but before they can implement them(i.e. 1080p) The sony store has been on record as saying it will offer movies, music and tv shows.
To me it shows how bad microsoft wants to come out on top. I am glad that they are so aggressive. I hope it rubs off on Sony so that we the consumer get the best out of both. I just kno...
that this is the same issue with this game. All you need to realize is that it happens on 360 also. You spend to much time pointing the finger when the same is applicable for your "favorite" system.
