You're a bit dense, aren't you. What I stated was a solid fact. Not an opinion. The Battlefield series is a multiplayer only series. It's only until recently with the Bad Company spin off series that single player got included, but only as an afterthought. Go educate yourself. You're either too young to know, and if you're not, then you're a bit too thick.
Done with multiplayer? Hate to burst your bubble, but don't go near Battlefield if multiplayer isn't your thing. It's ALL about the multiplayer with the Battlefield series. The Vietnam expansion doesn't have single-player. It's not needed.
The sound alone in Bad Company 2 blows anything that the COD franchise has to offer out of the water. The authenticity is such, that they record the real life guns being fired down a range, then they go about a mile off and record the gun being fired so they can put how the actual guns sound being fired from far off into the game. DICE know that it's little things like that that add up to make a game.
Awww, your list was going so well until the number 1 spot, then it all went to shit. Sad, oh so so sad that you could undo all the good work by putting bollocks like Black Ops at the number 1 spot ahead of Bad Company 2? LOL
:)
Those were the good old days, eh? The best.
@DethWish
Agree. No KB and mouse controls, no sell. Q3A is absolutely pointless to play without those controles. It's a high skill game that demands quick reactions. Playing it with a pad would feel like the entire game had been nerfed. And 1200 MS points? Had it been 800 with mouse and keyboard support, I'd have it.
So it is selling well, then? Not sure if it's a good or bad thing, really. My main concern for Kinect is it's software. There's only so many times you can release something where you have to stand up and wave your limbs about. So far, all I see are quick tech demos in the bundle. I'm certain the tech has massive potential, but is that potential being used right now for how the hardcore gamer really wants it to be? No. It isn't. For that reason, I've stayed off buying o...
Good to see N4G keeping the standards high with quality news on the latest in the industry. Old videos and news of important games other than Call of Duty and GT5 are submitted a month late, yet absolute shite like this gets approved of? If I wanted to see porn, there's dedicated sites for that. Millions of them. Sad as f*ck!
There are opinions, and then there is talking out of your arse. You're doing the latter. Now RDR wasn't my GoTY choice. That choice fell to ME2 hands down. But to say RDR had poor graphics and was just bad all round is talking bollox.
Since when does a larger fanbase equal the better product?
Again, another video that's at least a month old now. This place is a joke at submiting up to date news.
Anti-aliasing, model swaps, as well as high-res textures and post processed shadows vastly alter the image quality. PGR4's intro was all in-engine, but when it wsa compared to the actual game, the actual game got nowhere near it. That's just one example I can think of. Alan Wake did the same. 1% downdrade? I don't think so.
Absolute farce of a decision, but then again COD got voted the better game over Battlefield, so as the Yanks say: go figure. Par for the course.
Correct. Though the wee fanboys will inevitably read your comment and disagree.
Lesson for today, kiddies:
In-engine and In-game are NOT the same thing. Give me as many thumbs down as you wish, it doesn't change that what I just wrote is a fact.
Mass Effect 2 came very early in the year. I was absolutely gobsmacked by it. There were a few monsters over the horizon that I thought could potentially get close to it, the few being Red Dead Redemption, Reach and possibly GT5. Red Dead came out, it was a fantastic experience, but I knew that after 20+ hours or so into the game, that it wasn't touching ME2's experience. Different genre's and such, but it still didn't hold my attention nearly as much as Mass Effect 2 did. I d...
ME2's combat was one of it's bigger improvements over the original. I can't see how that makes it more "boring".
Aye, you're in the very small minority with that view. At least to anyone who's played ME2.
The list was OK. In the end, the correct game got the top spot. Nothing is touching Mass Effect 2 for the rest of this gen, or indeed for even game of this gen. It's out there on it's own, and the only thing I can see topping it is ME3, and even that is a bit hard to fathom.
However, as lists go, it's criminal that IGN AU didn't include the best online FPS this gen has seen thus far - Bad Company 2. This gen is mostly all about online play, and for them to omi...
Who is this dickhead Pachter anyway? Every news article relating to him I see, he always seems to be either stating the obvious or talking bollocks. He's stating the bloody obvious here. And this tool gets paid for this?
