I've never owned a hand held. Was very impressed with the tech behind the PSP. Shame the software wasn't consistent enough.

Having said that, looking at this little thing and it's capabilities along with the software line up, it makes me realise once again what I love about Nintendo. For a hand held to have games on par with early current gen games visually (almost) with the 3d effect, coupled with games like a remake of OOT and Pilotwings and a new RE chapter, th...

Very well said. But best not to even argue with some of the lemons on here.

I really couldn't care if ME has MP or not. That's not why it's my favourite series in the last decade or so. However, if the MP development doesn't interfere with the overall quality of the single player, and if the MP componant turns out to be quality too, then there is nothing to complain about. It only adds more value and more game time on ME3. I wouldn't say it's unwelcome, but it certainly isn't needed.

Don't be a fucking idiot. FPS's aren't the problem. It's generic, run of the mill broken peices of shit like the COD series these days that is.

Hmm, this makes the PBR glitch (which is now fixed) on BF:BC2 Vietnam seem pathetic in comparison now. I have to laugh, really. I was one of those that waited to buy this piece of shit first day on the 360. Best choice I ever made was to trade it for BFBC2, and now that I see this, I have to feel a bit sorry for the poor bastards that either stuck with it, or went out and recently bought it. This is a game killer. Not a map killer. A flat out game killer. It's only a matter of time before...

How anyone can say L4D is the definition of crap is beyond me. It's nothing but pure and simple fun gameplay. It's not trying to impress with over the top graphics or set pieces, it just does the basics right, which is a lot more than I can say for a lot of FPS's these days that are saturating the industry. It reminds me of how games were and should be.

That was actually a fair and decent list. I was expecting some shite like about 10 PS3 eclusives in the last 10 games. However, the person who made the list forgets that a few other stunners are on their way. Battlefield 3 on PC will blow the doors and hinges off anything on a console, as will Rage and Crysis 2 maxed out. Anyone who disagrees with me on that is a bellend that hasn't a clue, but then again this is N4G. PC games this year will start to take advantage of the tech, showing ju...

American business man in blows his own trumpet and talks bollocks shocker. What a surprise. Not.

What a load of bollocks.

Funny how Nintendo is constantly viewed as a "kiddies" console maker ever since back when the N64 was around and before, yet the average casual consumer who buy the Wii are of an age of 25 and above. It's even marketed for older people. Yet, 360 has the same games as a PS3 (bar the respective exclusives of course) and it's a kids console? You've got some fucked up fuzzy logic there, mate.

MS are canny bastards, I'll give them that. There will be thousands of kids out there (adults too) getting Kinect and I can see how something like this would appeal, especially since I can see where it's going. MS will release game character avatars that you can use for this at the measly cost of about 1200 MS points and the suckers will buy them just the same way they did with the stupid accessories and cloths. Sure, it would be a nice little feature if this is free to have a laugh w...

You obviously haven't played Mario Galaxy and Metriod on the Wii, then.

5553d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

They may not totally replace controllers, but they can become a welcome extension to them. Again, if it breaths new life into tired genre's, then it should be supported rather than disregarded. Mario Galaxy is a prime example of how well both motion controls and traditional can combine to improve the experience. Sure Galaxy would function on it's own without the motion sensor, but it wouldn't be half as intuitive and as fun. The reason why that game was so good was because the dev...

Oh, right, I see. So Mr Newell was just being considerate and taking our convenience as the main reason to invent Steam and bleat about his enthusiasm for episodic content to revolutionise the industry then? What a nice guy. Don't be so niave. What does it matter to devs how and where consumers pick up there product so long as they do. Not everyone on the planet has an internet connection, and most people will prefere a physical medium to keep, so that blows that excuse clean out of the wa...

You are totally missing the point. Newell stated and boasted about Steam and how it was the best way forward for the industry by releasing episodic content, because according to his vision, it delivered the next installments of games far quicker rather than to have to go off and write a new engine from scratch and then develop a game. He bemoaned the time that took and boasted that episodic content was a way to get the latest chapter of a story in a game faster than a newly developed game. We...

Fair enough, Valve. But, here's the big question: where the fuck is Episode 3? Your stance on episodic content has been a farce from the very beginning. Half Life 2 was 6 years ago. You could have had Half Life 3 out by now and been half way working towards part 4 if it were required.

Yeah, I've only seen on the map in the video just the once while playing. This will kill the expansion if it's not sorted really soon.

5555d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

No. People hate it because it unbalances the game and makes it boring as fuck if you're actually trying to win a round. Most recons are absolutely wank at the game.

5555d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I only really count the recon tags. I hate those bastards and relish taking them.

From what I'm hearing, the glitch is now possible on Hastings. On it's own, it's a map breaking cheat (glitch is the wrong word). To have it one more than one map is potentially game breaking. DICE need to sort this ASAP, and anyone caught doing it should have their stats reset to zero. Sure, it's a good laugh to those doing it and may seem harmless, but there are people out there who just want to have a competative game. One way to solve it is to play hardcore and team kill a...
