The Sony dev kit box it's completely different than the retail box. The dev kit has more fans and air ducts than the retail box. So, we appreciate them trying to make Sony look good, but...

No, this is not needed. All you have to do is keep your 360 in a place where air flow (like any electronic device) especially during the summer. If you open the 360 you will see the current cooling system is enough. The ring of death or 3 red lights of death is what the Xbox display to indicate something is wrong with the Xbox internal hardware and that you should contact Microsoft.

You are probably right about microsoft not wanting to allow the .net and XNA frameworks on a competitor platform. But if you think about it; if xna becomes the standard for game development on the PC, XBOX, Mobile microsoft can be making some serious money. I'm very excited about this. While Sony it's trying to prevent communities from making their own homebrew games/applications (i.e. PSP security updates); microsoft it's giving the tools to make it easy. Heck yeah; count me in. Any body care for a SNES Emulator for the 360?

I think the PS3 should use all the help they can get. Sega knows that they can make a quick buck and will with PS3 fan boys and their limited launch lineup. Companies don't like loosing money; hence why it is an exclusive for the PS3. They would loose money if they make it for the Xbox 360. 720p, it better be only for these images. If the game does not push a minimum of 1080p; than all the trash that Sony and their fan boys keep taking about is being for nothing. I want to see the PS3 doing stuff that the XBox 360 can't.

With Live Anywhere, and people using the XNA to make their own games, and create emulators; sure the PS3 will be taking the lead. I already know a few people that were not interested on the Xbox 360 until they announced the XNA framework. Microsoft already secured their future; they used the Xbox to expand to a broader audience. I wouldn’t be amazed if even Sony is forced to support the XNA for PS4 in the future.
