How about what Sony Do with the PSP games? They force you to update the system to the newest bios. All Microsoft has to do is ship the little Xbox 360 anti-hacker system buster on every new game. Also, it is pretty interesting what Sony did with the design; all those curves were designed to create and illusion; to make the console look smaller. Or maybe it’s designed to roll in case you drop it.

This guy is an idiot, "next-generation DVD player"; blu-ray is far from being a next-gen dvd. As matter of fact there are more similarities to HD-DVD (hence the name) than blu-ray. Most people playing games want to play games. I don't want my console to replace my basketball or baseball. I don't want to emulate jumping hoops with are remote (uhh?) when I have a basketball court in my backyard. If I want emulation I will get the peripheral that emulate the real thing; i.e. I'm playing a car game I want a steering wheel, dance game (a pad), boxing game (gloves), shooter (gun), etc. I think the wiimote is innovative and it will be fun, but let’s not compare the real thing...
Everyone knows companies don’t make money selling consoles; they make money making games. Though I am buying a wii; I'm strictly buying it to play NES, SNES, GC games on my living room. I'm honestly not interested about Mario, Zelda, Metroid since the day they killed them (at least for me) by making them 3D.
