Any smart person knows that the only reason why Sony is pushing blu-ray is simply because they own the blu-ray format and it is extremely important to the company's success; and they want to use the shortcut to introduce the product into people's living room. If blu-ray dies, Sony will be in trouble.
I think the price is right. Even at that price; I'm sure Nintendo is making a profit; they are not known to sell consoles cheaper than its production cost. Besides you don't have to be a genius to see this; how much hardware can you fit in that tiny box? I just hope Nintendo makes enough; this will sell like hot cakes.
I think it is on Sony's best interest to keep the public in the dark until launch. Fans will buy the system regardless; and Sony does not need more bad publicity. This is why they are not showing much and saying much. If Sony is smart they will continue to show CGI, they can’t afford to allow the PS3 to be compared to the 360. And about the online service, I bet they will not show anything until the PS3 is out and all the systems are sold.

If you have any thoughts you are more than welcome to write them. Why do you have to result to insults? That’s the difference between Sony fanboys and everyone else. You can't just have an educated conversation without insulting people. The reason why I said that; 1) The PS2 had a price drop 2-3 months ago. 2) PS2 is cheap enough. 3) PS2 is selling better than the 360 everywhere.

It this the only way Sony can stop people from buying a 360? Sony is trying to prevent Microsoft from selling 10 Mill consoles before the end of the year. They want to keep those charts showing that the PS2 is doing better than the 360. Nice dirty trick; but I think this will hurt PS3 sells.

Sony knows they are not ready to launch the console, but know that if they don't they are history. They are trying to launch at least 1 console to the public; just so they will not be considered a failure. I tried; but even big retailers lost faith in sony's abilities to deliver. They are not taking pre-orders. By the way relax; no one it's saying that the PS3 it's crap. It's Sony; the one thing I notice is, there are major discrepancies between comments made by their representatives. One says, "We are currently producing the consoles", the other says, "We are about to". I don't believe a word they say.
I beat this game; but it was hard; not becase the enemies had a very good AI; but because they can shoot you even before you can be seen. This game was a direct port from the PS2 and XBox versions. I'm sure they will do better for a 360 (maybe PS3) versions.
