if this is the design it will be interesting to see who last the longest holding both hand in the air. Reminds me of a punishment usually used by parents in Caribbean island where kids have to extend their arms forward till they can't handle it anymore. well if we put it that way then sony shuold wait another year before launch so they can have even more units and more games. Its ok to try to see a possitive side but this does not mean companies will wait for sony for ever. and people will wait for a game (i.e fight night) for a year to see better looking sweat. it's not aways better for a console to be getting improved ports that came from the competition while they are concentrating in new content.

a standalone HD-DVD cost $500-$1000 and they are bigger (at least bigger than the 360 and the hd-drive put together). So, if I want a HD-Player why not save $250 more and get the xbox addon and get more games and the wii?
Like I said before, don't start cutting your wrist if sony pulls the plug on the PS3.
