I personally don't care if it's xbox or xbox/PC exclusive. You obviously care enough to LMAOOOO
This truly is the one game I want VR for. Its so mesmerizing just on regular console. The sound design and presentation are top notch and ripe for a good VR experience. Hopefully one day for me..
I'm often embarrassed to say I'm a gamer because it signifies having a neckbeard and being a teenager but I'm sure there are others like me who function successfully as an adult. My dream is to have lan parties when it's all said and done in retirement, I'll be the healer/wizard every time :)
A good probability would be that the next console would turn the X where the S is now. Then it would be the older console. Doesn't have to be lies it just means that how games are ported and designed all flow seamlessly with all ecosystems going forward.. and of course backwards. It's a smart move and does future proof our current software with any new iteration that may come
Hmm I've heard all of this talk about grand theft auto. I think I'll try it and give it a shot lol
The more I read about how fun it is the more I get excited. Yes I'm worried because I don't want to be disappointed but it seems a return to the first one and that is ok with me. The journalist that have demoed it say good things. This is a cherry picked headline, read some other reviews as well and it seems it's shaping up to be the fun game I want. The competitive multiplayer and destruction are intriguing as well
You already can buy digitally and share titles with friends nowadays outside of play anywhere. I have been splitting purchases with a friend most of this gen as it is. I don't know if that's a factor as much as launching on UWP is the issue actually.
Whatever crazy and embarrassing string of comments this is, and of course the thumbs up for the fanboys
Planetbase, aven colony, and now this... I guess I'll have to buy them all to get my space sim building fix. Planetbase got old fast
I could list several games PC/xbox that I play because I don't have a decent gaming PC. But of course I expect a reply 'but they are not exclusive' to continue the weak narrative on most people's part. The only thing baffling is why do some people care so much about people wanting to play on console and not PC.
Love these games but it seems they never change. I hope they breath some new life into this new one
I tried to price out a PC a few days ago and really found it hard to not spend at least 1k. I sacrificed just having an i5 with 16 gigs ram to get a decent nvidia gpu which the cheapest suitable gaming ones at least cost 450 by themselves. I couldn't get cheaper than 1k which doesn't even include monitor :( seriously want to do PC route but I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but it's way more pricey than an X
@Razzer I don't know what the article states but proof positive I do the same thing. Swap purchases with a buddy and we both play at the same time, different gamertags. So yes you can play same purchase on two different platforms at the same time
Was not disappointed, though did not play pro 4k version. It holds up well to my nostalgic memories and super fun. I can't help but want a remake of hydrothunder next because they were popular at the same time :)
Still will be on PS I'm pretty sure. I'm thinking it will be similar to ark, elite and astroneer in where it will be available for a year or two before on Xbox because of game preview program
Have not played any of these. Excited to give it a shot!
Article didn't point anything out besides what we know. It's developers choice if a title will have native or not. First parties will take advantage of whatever hardware is available. Not worth a read
I think a switch in terminology is what's happening. Upgrades instead of generations. Ecosystems instead of exclusives.
I agree, I come to the article to get excited for a game. It does get tiresome when people obviously want to start some kind of platform war. Those comments are nothing but kindle for flames and it worked. We all know xbox games are on PC. Let's go on every game article and state what platform we will buy on. Great insightful comment from OP
The adoption rate is too slow for any dramatic change this gen I believe. I want VR to succeed and move forward but the power is just not there with the consoles as of now. Elite would have been huge but it appears it cant be done with quality so we may be relegated to just smaller experiences until things catch up with pricing and tech power in the console market. PC is still the place to go for VR but still is pricey and niche for it to get a good foothold. All my opinion of course
