I would like to see next gen be 60 fps generally. But truthfully it will be successfull regardless I think. PS has such worldwide appeal sony would never let it be behind ....as long as price is competitive. I'll personally be disappointed if no backwards compatibility though.

I love what nintendo is doing this gen and it will sell this first year but I expect with the lack of third party support and so many titles that are on other platforms it will fade into it's own subsection. Thb I think it shouldn't even be compared to the other consoles, it has it's own market and does not directly compete with xbox or PS and that's the way they want it I feel. They will find success distancing themselves as an alternate experience and not mainstream.
That thought has crossed my mind. This will only push devs to upgrade versions and support better gaming experiences. Regardless of what system you own, if one company supports 4k assets you best believe it will be on the other platform too instead of just random 'boost' on certain titles. Huh, I don't believe that is an issue that people mad get about. I think more people would agree that it's great we can pick genders and race in most of our games. I have never seen anyone 'crying' about that
I think this game will continue a developmental cycle post launch. Content will be continued to be added i.e sea monsters and regions is where this is headed from the looks of it

If the quality is on par with Zelda then this may be the Metroid game that I have been wanting for a looong time. I think I will still be waiting a while but I do believe it's important for them to reestablish the franchise strongly. It has been dead for too long.
Thank you. I'm glad there's some work done on this front, it seems to have worsened lately IMO. Many comment sections are held hostage by deliberate attempts to stir up arguments. I hope this will lead to more constructive and on topic material. I have faith that there will be no censorship and will lead to more thoughtful dialogue even if it is critical.
