I played this one quite a bit too. I remember how hard and frustrating it was but such nostalgia thinking about it.

I'm definitely wtf-ing myself. There's a lot going on in the menus

Stupid is really an intelligent way to nail your point. It turns your whole argument into uselessness. Ask anyone with an xbox if they care about PC and they will say they are happy with the multiplatform concept, I like more options and PC ports personally.

Zoo tycoon reviewed very well, haven't tried it but it's a surprise to see. I thought zoo tycoon was widely regarded as excellent, it's confusing to see here

Your list is definitely more accurate than the article

Quantum break is a quality game.. it just needed a cover system and more fleshed out combat. It's well made and obviously good devs had a hand in it. Inwouldnt mind seeing an expanded sequel. I liked Ryse too actually, it looks so good, repetitive but fun and a sequel would do well if it wasn't rushed I feel. MCC is fantastic too... this is a how a remaster should be. Clickbait but can be a good discussion

Never tried it but I hear it's better than people make it to be. I was strongly considering the definitive version... we'll see how it turns out and it may redeem itself to the masses and myself to try

There was a slight hiccup in Japanese games IMO as I think mobas and mobile stole some attention. They are coming back around but the western devs steal the show, more western releases are in the top ten for sure and I hate to say there's a point to be made. Still a clickbait article because gamingbolt but it gets the wheels spinning. Gaming bolt must just pay this guy to say dumb stuff so they can stir the pot and get publicity. Maybe on topic but I have lost confidence in square...Ninte...

I'm in the strong minority and I'm sure this will receive disagrees but I loved the first two but the third I couldn't finish. I kept falling asleep and the combat is so uninspired. Spamming the same two abilities over and over, dodging and swinging a sword has finally taken it's toll on a third game. Story is great, presentation is great, the combat did not evolve and it's so repetitive. Wish they would have made some adjustments and variation to the combat. I was so hype...

Very true, it will be worth it to port the game financially. Nobody is saying much about that just hate about xbox userbases. I wish I didn't spend my time here frustrated and commenting on ignorance. It really may be a lost cause. I think children/trolls frequent here by majority

Who cares about money anyway right. Think hard about that unless it's sarcasm

They'll make millions however you spin it on xbox. DOA is a sensationalist headline and not grounded in reality. Of course it will sell more on PS but missing out on those sweet sales even if less is still worth it.. and that is impossible to argue. Porting does not cost millions they will profit with even a half of a million sales. If no project backing or paid exclusivity is present why would you not port....sometimes it's hard to grasp these rationalizations

They profited from selling final fantasy multiplatform. Your argument makes no sense to me. I'm sure they made some really good money from xbox sales, what company doesn't want more money? This is a fanboy argument and once again not rational for the real world of business

Edit: food for thought, so if ffxv sold a million on xbox that's worth it. That's millions of dollars they would not have otherwise had. How is that even arguable?

Why would you not attempt a release on other platforms unless under the table money was involved. Its simple logic...a port is not hard for the possible millions of sales. They are doing what businesses should do. Expand the audience, the ninja gaiden titles were xbox at first so some of these points are invalid as it pertains to the attractiveness of Japanese games to other console owners. If I owned a gaming comapny the size of square I would be certain to make a small team to dedicate port...

Sure is a lot of stereotyping and sweeping generalizations made nowadays... not just in gaming. People who think critically will dismiss this article as they should. By Asian console holders and larger base it will sell more overall but assuming people on xbox don't like action rpgs is complete nonsense.

Well obviously this is a small microcosm of the problem on here. We should all disagree or report obvious troll comments as it does nothing but propagate flame wars. This goes for both sides, I like my PS but the amount of upvotes for a completely ignorant and baiting comment should never receive so many agrees, not that it really matters but its a perfect example of how we can all do better talking about the hobby we love in a more constructive way

Edit: joke or not it it...

Thank you so much for the reply... I have drifted away from these types of games as of late... I was wondering what the fresh take was. I mostly play around with my switch while at work (work overnight) and have not tried even the online capabilities yet, was curious what all the hype was about. Thanks really :)

I'm in the same boat. Never played the first and wondering if this is something I will enjoy. It seems intriguing... what is it that got you hooked?

Opinions are opinions. I'm more excited for future games and have enjoyed more x one games, I won't call you a fanboy it's just preference
